Just got a feeling that the club will unveil a new signing at City Live. How good would it be if De Bruyne was presented on stage and signed his contract there and then.

Come on mate, don't get your hopes up about that.

No way, would we have kept it this private. Nor would Wolfsburg - they have been pretty vocal. So has KDB, in fact.

It's like when people say it's going to be when the new kit is launched - it doesn't happen like that. No way we would have been able to keep a medical quiet etc. Everyone knew when Sterling, Delph, and Roberts were signing. Why would this be different.

All that being said, I reckon we will only name 9 players for West Brom to begin with, but when the teams line up in the tunnel, Pogba and KDB turn up and jog on to the pitch.

I hope so but we've done nothing recently to suggest that we will even consider playing Nacho all that often. Bony will score goals and hopefully so will Sterling, but I still think we need another option in midfield because out of those 3, only 1 of them is going to be a regular starter so we need goals from our first 11 or at the very least we need someone who can stand in for Toure and still be a goal threat.
 
The sooner signed the better. 8 days to first league match.

3 points available at WBA. I would like De Bruyne in our starting line up that day.

I'm confident he will sign but there's absolute no chance we will have him signed by dinner time on Friday, which is the cut off time.
