De Bruyne?

Sounds like he might have been put in a very awkward situation and gave what he thought might be the most favourable answer in the circumstances!
Still think this on personally.
I think the fact nothing official has come out from Wolfsburg suggests to me that they weren't aware he would announce this and I think they'd be shouting this from the rooftops.

Keep the faith I say.

because in my eyes, he didn't understand the question... hence there was no U-turn
 
IF YOU were going to receive an award at work, would you pitch up and say "thanks, but I'm fucking off to a rival on triple the salary...promise to drop this back next year"

I said my piece an hour ago regarding this.

I'm not ITK...I respect our ITK'S. Let's just take a breath and see what the next 72 hours bring. I have no information as to which way this will go.
 
Can someone please confirm that Ric definitely isn't on the Board at MCFC? Some posters do appear to be taking his every word as Gospel!

Not only would it be poor planning on the boards behalf, it would be completely idiotic to keep a player based on the assumption that you may reach the CL QF. An injury could rule him out all season or you could get a group of death.

No offence but I wouldn't even rate Wplfsburg in the top 10 teams in Europe never mind top 8.

Unless he commits to a long term deal he will be off this year or the next. Your agent even said as much.
