De Bruyne?

If Kevin is so committed to his football and wants to win things then we only have to offer the same as Wolfsburg do in their contract to get him. He gets the same money but at a club capable for challenging for more honours than his current one.

If we do sign him then looking at our full squad, we are more than capable of challenging for the CL this season. Winning the group is the first task, and luck on the way but with the squad we have we have a chance of winning it this season.

Yeah it said he played for us when I copied the bit about his Mum and now it's back to Wolfsburg
Maybe they've gone too early! It also said that he couldn't have played for England because his mother was born in Burundi, which is clearly wrong, although he's chosen the country of his birth, of course, and that's fair enough.

Anyway, as I am distracted with it for five minutes I had a read of his achievements to-date. Seriously impressive. No idea why Chelsea let him go but their loss, our gain, it seems.

Almost all of our top players earn nowhere near £200k. Our new wages structure loads a lot of the financial reward into the bonus/performance related pay side of things. Even then there's almost no-one in the £200k bracket.
How do you know that? KDB will be no different than our other top earners no more no less otherwise there would be a mutiny and it would seem we have the structure right it's years since one of our players claimed he was underpaid. We have it right.

It's been widely reported. It's the wage structure policy Soriano and Txiki applied at Barca.

Makes me laugh when people say we are paying over the odds in transfers or wages and we shouldn't pay it.
What deference do's it make to us city fans?we are the richest club in world football,if the owners want the best players here, then that's how it is,they'll have some of the best business brains behind them,I'm sure they know what their doing.

I imagine Kevin feels a certain gratitude to Wolfsburg. He left Chelsea a bit parter and became Bundesliga player of the year. No mean feat when you think of the competition. He is probably also a bit nervous of moving from a place he is top dog and doing well back to a league where he had difficulties albeit Mourinho induced.

But I imagine he was sounded out some time ago and gave us grounds for optimism.

If all of these deals come together like it seems they are then we will not have to worry about the european FPP rules, it will be the new HELP ME rule that they inevitably introduce - Hinder Every League Player (from) Manchester England.

In which City teams must even things up for all the other sides by playing in blindfolds.

Sterling's fee long forgotten now he is pretty much doing the business and most likely to get better.

I don't see how people are getting excited by his agents quotes. We've known the agent wants his client to move all summer. Wolfsburg are the issue and there is no evidence that Klaus Allofs is going to budge and stop playing hardball. It's hard to get excited for me as it's been the same story every week
