The other week against Dortmund they were extremely poor. And they lost to an average Mainz at the weekend.

Gladbach have had a terrible start to the season. Got hammered by BD and lost to Mainz at the weekend. Had a really good season last year though so could be a tough game.
 
Like I said it's no good having a group thats too easy and then being overwhelmed in the knockout stages... this group is more than win-able for this squad and if we do then I think team will reach a new level with the confidence it will bring(we've never really had a chance to build it with draws we've had in the past).
 
If the rumours of Pogba going to the chavs materialise we should top the group given Tevez and Vidal have already gone.
Best chance we have ever had to top a CL group. If we keep playing as we are I think we will.

Sevilla been weakened? Are you high? Yes bacca has left but they are are much more compete than last season
 
personally great group none of the teams we have had the previous groups and we are more than capable of winning the group.

i am betting the other teams will have shit a brick with us in there :)

Sevilla have won the Europa League, 2 years on the bounce, so know how to win in Europe, they won't be easy at all. Gladbach aren't anything special, but when you consider the alternatives (BATE, Gent, Astana, Zagreb, Tel Aviv & Malmo) it's certainly tougher than we would have wanted.
 
Hopefully we can make this the year we take maximum points at home. Then you're looking at say one away win.
 
Can't help but think that it will help our PL chances.
Straightforward away trips so less fatigue, no Wolfsburg so no reason for them to block the de Bruyne deal and Chelsea and United have one or more lousy road game.
Hope they get the Russia/Ukraine away games in December!
 
Difficult group, but nothing like what we've faced in the past.

Plus it might benefit us that none of our group are pushovers. Tough for Juventus after losing good players.
