They questioned the price for KDB and Tony weighed in with how much the rags payed for Veron, Wio, Wooney.
Then questioned why no one had a pop at the rags for buying De Maria last year....

Also went on about the wooney wankfest in that the team they played last night would struggle to win the Northern Premier League ha ha ha

Pretty embarrassing really! Just seemed to ring up to rant about United found it pretty cringy and the fact that he thought Aguero cost £28M instead of £38M was the cherry on the cake!

I thought he simply called them out on the hypocrisy of City spending over the odds is bad and worthy of discussion, yet the rags spending over the odds never gets questioned, even disasters like Veron and De Maria. So each time the presenters made a comment, he made a comparison with the goings on at the swamp and asked why they didnt get the same media treatment

I remember last year, when Di Maria rocked up at the swamp, Durham and his thick Yorkie sidekick were both creaming themselves about what a great buy he would be for the swamp-dwellers.

They got that one right, didn't they?
 
John Cross doing paper review just now, De Bruyne transfer will cost City blaah blaah blaah millions, gave the 50 million transfer fee then every add on you could think off, surprised he didn't add the price of a coffee on the plane over, ****
 
Waiting for them to say how disgusting the fee is and how many hospitals or schools could be built with that sort of money. Thankgod I gave this lot up over 12 months ago.

Why do people get so offended about a transfer fee?

When I see people saying words to the effect of 'FFP is dead' to me that equates as we can't stand City signing more players
 
The money use to be in the Italian league. Hence John Charles, Dennis Law, Jimmy Greaves all transferring. Today, the money is in our league. Transfer fees are obscene at these rates when you consider what fans have to pay to get in. City are better than some, but still exorbitant when considering players wages. Talk sport, newspapers etc. have mainly those working for them who grew up when Liverpool, Utd, Spurs and Chelsea before them, were famous. So we suffer today a bias against us and a jealousy over money. Just enjoy it. :-) I still listen to Talksport.

That is the main gripe when these so called "experts" can't understand someone who doesn't want to go to Liverpool.
Maybe because the top notch kids these days wren't born when Liverpool last won the League and were the force in England?
 
Everyone hates us till we win the league!

I remember when we got slated during the entire season we won the league under Mancini, up until we won the league that is then everyone licked our bum hole red raw!
