A lot do a cracking job, with the heavy legwork done by people who just do it for the love of City, and their fellow fans.

I'd vote for the A34 Branch. They're based down in the Winchester (near Southampton) area. They travel everywhere, which ain't so hard for a Supporter's Branch, but the travelling they do for every home game is phenomenal (including mid week - I remember a fucking marathon drive a few seasons back for Everton at home....snowing like fuck, and we lost!). Must be a good 7 hour round trip, although the bloke I used to get in a car with could do the trip back in around 2 and a bit hours.....fucking hell did he drive fast! Oh, as good as they are as fans, they were utter dog shite at quiz nights!

Anyway, just thought it was worth a mention, as the Supporter's Clubs sometimes get a bad rep due to ticketing bollocks, but they do a cracking, and worthwhile, job.

Here Here...

I've never had a bad experience with any branch. When we started Bury Blues I went all over the show to different branches to see how they operated to get some ideas and every last one of them were more than welcoming and had dedicated genuine people involved with the branches.

Bredbury Blues deserves a mention - well organised regular travel. Respect to Arnie for his commitment there.
Sound lads from the Chadderton branch who go regularly.

Hazel Grove blues also.

Been involved with a few branches over the years. All kept going by a hardy bunch of blues who give up a lot of time with (sometimes) very little thanks - and a little bit of grief when a guest doesn't turn up!
My hat is doffed to you all

Cheers Mal, us A34 lot will be hitting the, ahem, A34 again tomorrow as per.

Good bunch of lads who as you say like a lot of supporters clubs put in a lot of effort in. Certainly sharing travel etc has helped me keep my season ticket since being exiled down in Hampshire a few years ago. Usually a good crew for the Euro aways as well - in fact I dont think I have seen you since Munich away part one...

Can I ask what is the cost for the coach to home matches? Feel free to PM me if you would prefer it not on the forum.

No, it was a lad called Chris. Drove back like a man possessed!

Always a few in the coach park every game. Rotherham.... Spoke to the driver seems he picks up all over Yorkshire. Which must be difficult without proper roads and lighting. Blackpool.....Wales.................Outer Mongolia ?.............Barrow.
