Is mangala back?Good to see Zaba and El Mago back. Next big one to get back is Vinny.

Im afraid its inevitable he will be called by Spain. He's been their main man in qualifying and i think Iniesta is injured so they need Silva more than ever :(It was great to see Silva back last night. I really hope he doesn't go on international duty though, couldn't stand him picking up another knock and missing key matches in October
Alternatively, he could have a great trip away with his compatriots and come back match fit.It was great to see Silva back last night. I really hope he doesn't go on international duty though, couldn't stand him picking up another knock and missing key matches in October

I dont think it works like that. No matter what we say, its up to the Spanish team doctors to tell whether he is able to play. If he plays saturday for us he'll play for Spain. Why can't we just tell Spain he's not fit so he wont be attending.?
Kompany is the main worry. he had started the season so well. Hopefully we are just being extra cautious. It looked like he was close to a return at Spurs and I thought he might make it for the Gladbach game.Hopefully, by the time the international break is over we should only have Delph still out, according to Physio Room at least.
I'm sure it won't pan out like that, but we can live in hope.
We should have put our foot down with vinny on this occassionStuart Brennan @StuBrennanMEN 41m41 minutes ago
Kompany included in Belgium squad for games v Andorra and Israel. Pellegrini expressed doubt he would be fit for next week. #mcfc
Great...
We can't "put our foot down" as its up to the national federation to assess the fitness of their players, if we don't release them we breach the rules, and the player can be banned by UEFA/FIFA.We should have put our foot down with vinny on this occassion
I stand correctedWe can't "put our foot down" as its up to the national federation to assess the fitness of their players, if we don't release them we breach the rules, and the player can be banned by UEFA/FIFA.
The problem is if they are selected they are expected to travel, no matter who they play for. Belgium may have requested that Vinny travels, because he's such a senior player, and may have promised us he won't play, we're never likely to be party to that knowledge.Having said that plenty of clubs say their players are not fit for duty, rags and chelsea usually
