Pardon me for not remembering five years ago, I notice you dont have word one to say about the truth of that full statement ;0(.

And until such time as justice is done I will continue to post about the criminal acts and murders done in the name of that terrorist state.
 
Ive read these threads for years as a lurker and they all end up going one way, it is dissapointing though that even one bad word against Israel and people are accused of being anti semite.

Due to your lack of literacy it was quite easy to find by using the search function to find "dregges"
If you want a word about the truth of that statement, there are a quite a few inaccuracies in the first sentence.
In 1947 (not 1948) prior to the state of Israel coming into existence, two (not three) British sergeants were hanged by a terrorist organisation (not by the state of Israel). It was as a direct consequence of the previous day's execution of three Irgun members who had taken part in a prison break, two of whom were born in mandatory Palestine (not the "dregges" of Eastern Europe). The Haganah, the forerunner to the IDF, which was the main Jewish military organisation was totally opposed to what Irgun intended to do and tried to find the British soldiers before they were killed. Most people at the time totally condemned the killings and they sparked reprisal killings against Jewish civilians and a large number of antisemitic attacks back in Britain.

As for the rest of what you wrote, it's mostly biased bollocks.

Correct. I have had the same shite for which the mod. who accused me, being outed and having to apologise. Many good forum members have been banned for speaking out against the murderous Israeli state. Anti semite they scream, to protect what is an apartheid state.

That's not true, plenty of people criticise Israel, myself included without being called antisemitic. There are certain people who post antisemitic comments dressed up as anti-zionism and it's fairly clear when that happens.

1) Jews have lived in the area that is currently known as Israel and the Palestinian territories for over 3000 years

This was a larger number than the Palestinians displaced during the war of independence in 1948 which was started by most of Israel's Arab neighbours.
8) The Jewish population of Israel is split about 50/50 between those who came from Europe and those who came from Arab lands or have always been there. Around a quarter of the today's population of Israel (about 2 million)are Arabs who didn't leave and their descendants. They still live in their towns and villages.
9) Whilst it's true that there has been land taken over by Israel following the various wars that have occurred there (which in the main were instigated by the Arabs), a lot of Jewish owned land was legally purchased prior to the foundation of the State of Israel.

I am not making excuses for the illegal settlements in the West Bank many of which were founded following confiscation of land, however it is certainly not true to simply say that "it was a land grab pure and simple"

So, the people who had settled the land for over 1400 years were cleared out on the basis of race after money exchanged hands in some agreement they weren't invited to participate in. And the 'purchasers' had been persecuted elsewhere. So it's not a smash and grab then.

No. They were still there. Some until the present day and some until 1948 when the Arabs started a war and lost.

How many fucking times do we have to say it? No one gets banned for speaking out against Israel. No one. No matter how many times you say it, it doesn't make it right.

However there's a difference between criticising Israel and expressing views that are plainly anti-semitic, like this.

The way people who criticise Israel too often give themselves away as anti-Semitic is that they devote a suspiciously large amount of energy in pointing out Israel's alleged misdeeds while studiously ignoring those of anyone else.

It's a dead giveaway.

It's as obvious as if someone was constantly ranting on and on about crimes committed by black or Asian people, with no context or comparison with crimes committed by white people.

As long as no one mentions Hamas is a terrorist group that violently adopts Gender-Apartheid in Palestine.
Muslim women have far more rights in Israel than they would ever have in Palestine.
If the Arab World years ago had made a statement that Israel should be allowed to exist OR stopped trying to exterminate then perhaps the situation might not be like it is.
Tbh hardline Islamic nations don't want the situation to change,they want one thing and one thing only,Israels destruction.

Or you might say the Balfour declaration and the later plans for partition in violating the rights of the settled people (i.e. self determination rights violated) was the start to the then inevitable war. Lots of ways to write history. One thing is for certain, the British didn't half leave things in a mess.

Yes.

They want the whole of the middle east to be a dreadful place with no democracy, religious intolerance and dreadful persecution of women and minorities, not just the 99.5% of it that already is like that.
 
Rather than wasting time squabbling about who is and who isn't racist or anti-semetic (for the record I'm neither), the fact remains that Israel continues to annex and then build in what the Palestinian people and most of the Arab world believe to be Palestine. (please no more replies that the State of Palestine doesn't exist, it does on every level apart from a technicality of subjective legal recognition).

Bottom line is if my next door neighbor started building in my back garden I'd kick off, even if he was much much bigger. Stick to building in your own garden and we will eventually stop hating each other and who knows, in years to come I might even invite him round for a barbecue.

Israel would be sat in its 1948, UN sanctioned borders except for the fact that it was was repeatedly threatened and attacked by the thankfully incompetent forces of all the countries which surrounded it.

When countries pick fights with powerful neighbours they tend to have to live with the consequences of their folly.

The moral of the story is don't pick fights you can't win.

Israel is a powerful first world country in a third world location.

Effectively it can do as it wishes.
