Villa Vs City Post Match Thread

100% Pellegrini's fault. Nota good performance all round but the game was crying for a striker but did not even bother. This is what cost us last year and will cost us again this year.

This just gives Arsenal more impotous to win if thry even needed it. Pretty much guatlranteed 3 points for Arsenal and we didnt do anywhere enough to beat Villa. Horrible result.
 
A fucking dreadful display. I know we can't bang in 3 or 4 every game, but Villa are bottom of the fucking league. They only had 4 points before today. And we couldn't beat them. When you lose your only striker in the starting XI early on, and you don't bring on the striker you have on the bench until there's only SEVEN minutes to go, I don't suppose you deserve any more out of the game.
 
We had 3 perfect opportunities from 6 yards that we somehow managed to fuck up.
That is why we didn't win.
 
At one point we had three holding midfielders and no strikers on against bottom of the league shite.

Our manager is too much of a coward to give a young striker a chance when he was by far our best option.

He's learned fuck all in his three years here, same errors over and over, and I'm fucking sick of it. We've been lucky in so many games this year, with individual qwuality getting the charlatan out of a hole, but his complete lack of bollocks and plan B are clear as day to anyone.

But hey, why face the truth when you can make fucking hilarious comments about "flappers".

He was NEVER a world class manager, he has a world class team and hasn't a clue what to do with it
 
absolute disgrace that, inexcusable.Shit like that stops up moving to the next level and it has to fucking stop, we cannot allow this to be a title race, we have to march off with it so we can focus on Europe in the Spring. Utter turd, pissed off with the lot of them. Keeping Arsenal and the fucking Rags interested when it shouldn't even be a contest.

But would have taken the results we've had since last international break. Hopefully Aguero and Silva to return and we're still firing in all comps.
 
We played immense with Fernandinho, fernando and yaya midweek, but this game needed two uptop from the start....fair enough bony got injured but even then I'd have swapped him for kelechi. Navas had a decent game.

End of the day, sterling should have won this game twice for us.

Lethargic first half, much better 2nd. If we'd played both halves at the same tempo we'd have won that comfortably.
