Early November, qualified for the knock out stages in Europe already and out of the hardest group! Quarter finals of the league cup and top or second in the league!
Oh and without two of the best players in the league, if not the world, for the past five weeks. Wankers!

It's probably the latter for me. If he can't accept a smaller role then it will become a problem.
He was definitely worse than the two Ferds in that first half. Up there with his poorest games for me.
He was poor. I thought Fernandinho was just as bad and Fernando offers nothing for me in games we don't particularly need to defend in numbers in.
Still despite that, Sterling misses a piss easy header from 4 yards out that he should have scored and we probably wouldn't be debating anything tonight!

i didn't mean any offense to all the non goers. plenty of decent blues like that, but the attitude and feeling on here especially when we lose compared to a lot of match going fans is compleltey different. it really puts me off coming on here when its like this sometimes

Choosing to play with no striker against the team bottom of the league was bizarre. That didn't work at all.
Pellegrini got it so right against Sevilla, but wrong today. Disappointing.
