That's why most managers would set up to maximise the chances of us at least coming away with a draw.

Most think MP is not capable of doing this or doesn't want to do this because if we park the bus we will find a way of stuffing up and give Juve a gift goal or two.

A draw and Juve would in all likelihood have to win in Spain to have any chance of finishing on top.
 
Hate to say it but I can't see anything other than another loss here. We are on a downward slide and difficult to stop the rot.

Assuming if you're in the Under 19s Champs League squad then by default you can play for the Senior Team? Just looking at the likes of Maffeo, Celina, Tosin etc.......
 
I have got my old City worried head on ! I really can't see a win tonight ! It's a nostalgic feeling but not a pleasant one. You never know though !! I am going to talk myself out of this ! Somehow !

The rags will draw tonight 1 1 . That's almost certain and helping my mood a bit

Wouldn't be a total shock if he got dropped tonight.

We might stand a decent chance of keeping a clean sheet if we have Delph, Fernandinho and Fernando protecting our back 4. Must at all costs stop them getting at Demichelis.

If we're hard to break down, and they start getting frustrated, we have pace on the break to hurt them. It's not like we'll need Yaya to unlock a packed defence tonight. They need to win. Topping the group is vital.

Its important for the mindset going into Saturday.

Of all the sides expected to challenge for this years title we appear to be the most fragile if things go against us or sides press us.
 
Is this why Vinny, Otomendi, Ferandinho, were not played on Saturday? because Pellegrini wanted to finish in top spot?
If so, I hope for his sake we win tonight, and that the performance at the weekend is a turning point in our season, which, barring the initial faultless start has become a bit stop/start and erratic.
 
Correct me if I’m wrong but other than the last group game last year (BM away and a very outside chance) we have never played a CL game where we have already qualified and can top the group! It’s a great position to be in and we should be looking to play a tactical game. If we get a draw tonight then topping the group is definitely on and we can look forward to an easier last 16 game and then hopefully the quarters. If we are going to do well in this competition we need to be able to get tactical results and we should be able to go to Juventus and get a draw at worst.
