At elite level you need to do a bit more. Yes he set up sterling on a plate, he also didn't find anyone on numerous occasions and some of his corners almost cost us goals. i think he'll be fine long term, just disappointed with him lately.

5 chances, created 4 of them. Just a poor team performance and he can't help it that the other players can't finish when he puts it on a plate for them. But I also think he was bad today, against Liverpool he was excellent though.

if KDB was signed by the rags he would be THE most important football player on the planet.
ive watched him at the etihad do things which take my breath away,....then returned home to watch MOTD and his name hasn,t even been mentioned by the pundits.
i know a player when i see one,i also know the media agenda is to keep City down and out of the news, dont interfere with the utd/klopp wankfest...
Possibly ,only when you have played the game of football ,you can really appreciate the touch ,control and vision which fires this lad, and maybe you understand that class can be shown in a blink of an eye....the attempted killer pass that didn,t come off that nobody else has even seen anyway......its easy to comment on what you saw, but if you didn,t even knew it existed...this is getting messy, and ive had a drink.kdb is basically one step ahead of the game.every time.

If there was a better City player on the field today, I didn't see him. Absolute Class!!!!

He' s clearly a very good player but suits a counter attacking team, not a slow possession based team. He needs open space both for himself and for attackers to run into.

He's not that effective when teams camp outside their own area as he doesn't have the ball retention and guile of Silva. Not many do to be honest.

Rubbish that is. What he needs is movement and players who can play his style. The last month or so with Bony in front of him and Navas and Sterling alongside him, he's been wasted. He needs Aguero and Silva fit then you'll see the best of all three of them. Sterling and Navas just don't suit that style.

I like KDB, he's got a proper football brain, cant compare him to Sterling they are two total opposites in their styles of play. Both will become greats for us, consistentcy is the key.

Really? Both wingers, both young, both cost about £50m. Not exactly like comparing a keeper to a striker is it?
One is 20 years of age the other is 24. There's an awful lot a player can learn in 4 years of top flight football.
One cost us closer to £54 million whilst the other cost £44 million with the possibility of it rising to £49 million.
So no, I don't think you can compare them as it stands.

Yes, so real massive differences between the two, not. You appear to be so far up Sterling's arse that only your shoelaces are visible.

Top class player. We just need to get him more involved. Its mystifying how, with Silva out and Yaya off form, that he's been peripheral at times rather than running games.

Haha! For defending him against fuckwits like you? I'll carry on being up his arse then if that's the case.
Half the cunts on here wouldn't know how to spell support, never mind actually carry out the meaning.

Think he's been flogged for the last 8 weeks since silva has been out. Pellegrini doesn't know where to play him and with the lack of anyone up front there seems to be no forward pass or everyone is static. We've shoe horned him and sterling into the side with no thinking into how best to accommodate them.

That's a bit worrying, since Pellers was the one that wanted them!

Does a lot of things very well, gives the ball away a lot.

Yeah, it's a side to his game he really needs to work on. You can see his instinct is to find a difficult ball even if there isn't an obvious 'difficult' ball if that makes sense. Occasionally simplifying his own game wouldn't be a bad thing. He'll get there though. An absolute beast of a player already and but for Pellegrini shoehorning Toure into KDB's best position, I think we'd already be seeing more from him.
