I genuinely don't think he knows what to do. It's patently obvious that he's stubborn, his inability to motivate the team is very worrying. Fair enough, we have injury problems at the minute but as the manager he should know how to and be prepared to change our system so that it fits the available personnel. The main problem for me is that he seems clueless to other teams tactics. I honestly don't think he studies how our opposition plays, what their strengths and weaknesses are. It's all well and good thinking "we're better so let them worry about us" but at the minute, we're flat, slow & painfully predictable. We have been well and truly Sussed out now and teams know how to disrupt us. I can see it, you can see, he must be able to see it. I think it's long over due and it's time to go. Who do we get in? For me, the hardon the club have for Guardiola is worrying. If he decides he doesn't fancy it were in trouble as it would seem we're going all out for him and other potentials will know they're second choice. If Pep wanted the gig, why not quit Bayern? Ancelotti is available, his sides play decent football and he's won the fucking lot. What are we waiting for?

What a stupid strategy. The time to sack him was last summer. Now we're stuck.

If Pep doesn't join us, this will be seen as one of the worst management fiascos in recent memory

No we don't! We get away with it when teams fear us and sit back but any team having a go and with some quality in their ranks are ragging us.More and more teams have seen this is the way to play us so expect more drubbings.IF we have our first choice 11 on the pitch and fully fit we CAN play that way,,,,but when do we ever? The manager has to adjust the tactics when we don't....he can't or won't so for me he needs to fuck off sharpish!

who would you take over those players in the league ? if we have our first choice 11 that does help but in regards of just our attack we have one of the best

Aguero - best striker in the league
silva- best attacking mid
de brunyne -b est stats
sterling - one of the best young players

all world class or have the potential to be. its not attack thats the problem its defending

"We always play attacking football, we try to keep the ball, we play with a high defensive line and we apply pressure to recover the ball."
"These are very simple things that all our teams do and, hopefully, you see our teams in Melbourne and Manchester play and you will see the same kind of football," he added.

"This doesn't mean we'll win.

The only thing making me happy tonight is the fact that I'm having chicken wraps for my tea - fucking belter! (No, not you Manuel, the chicken wraps. You can fuck off).

Sack him. Never liked his mumbling charming man 'Holistic' bollocks, dour personality and charisma of a fucking depressed Undertaker! He looks like he's been living under a bush drinking Meths in Piccadilly gardens, the red eyed old ****. FFS, Buy some Optrex eyes bright drops now, and then fuck off!
Haha

Get shot soon as whilst we still have time to make a proper challenge. He's taking us to mediocrity. No motivation and no idea how to keep things tight in the though games. How many times have we been battered already this season?

He does have a point though.....

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says the "complete team" must take responsibility for the 2-0 defeat at Stoke but points out his team are challenging in four competitions with only 13 players.

Completely agree about the over reaction as always to him again and the fact we are still in all 4 competitions means sacking him now is frankly ridiculous but his comments of ony having 13 players given our resources, academy and the players coming through the EDS is shocking from him and if i was an EDS player or even Mansour who has invested and built the academy id be fucked off with him.

The bit in bold, we do a very poor job of this.

Pisses me off that he makes the same mistakes repeatedly with team selection. We couldn't afford to be carrying players away at Stoke. We needed the points so play the best team ffs. Was he resting Delph or does he seriously think he is worse than Fernando?!! I can understand why he picked Demichelis but we needed to be at our strongest defensively so Clichy and Delph had to start. And yet again he waited too long before making changes and made the wrong ones when he did. Lots of apparently small mistakes all combining to result in one big fuck up.

I wouldn't have seen the point sacking after OT last season, but 100% should have been given his marching orders come seasons end. A bad decision then looks absolutely terrible now. To not sack him will kill our chances of a top 4 finish this season.

We got absolutely fucking battered bar 9 minutes by our rivals. And Manuel looked like a flump sat in a heatwave on the touch line. He did fuck all to stop it, his tactics were garbage and his passion was as subdued as the 94th minute on the Stretford end 23/10/11.

That match told a tale we should have heeded and accepted. He's not got the nous or discipline when we come to majority of the big boys now and it's the same now. If we shouldn't have sacked him then, it should have been a final nail hammered into the coffin and we should have at least assessed our options with some intent.

Thanks malg, first time I've had a proper chuckle since the final whistle.

True.

Damning indictment on Pellegrini, no doubt.

Hughes also had us in the relegation zone at this time of year in his first season.

This is the same guy that outdid us today with an inferior hardworking side.

Same old shit.

Hughes was dreadful for us. The fact Pellegrini is doing no better with an extra 400m worth of players is pretty alarming.

Not his fault of course, he's only got 13 players and "doesn't understand" the performances.

No! It was his choice to use those players against Hull, he could have brought in 1 or 2 EDS players but he didn't. The League Cup would be nice to win but its not as important as the league so this excuse just doesn't wash.

My slant is we dont have a great squad and I stick by that.

Its good enough if the better players stay fit for long enough to challenge for the title.

Its also very possible that this season we might miss out on a top four finish.

Having MP in charge makes us perform on average no matter who is available worse than we should.

Has to go,
