There's a strong rumour going around the academy that it will be Simon Davis - Viera's assistant.
not ITK but was told on sunday he was asked by powers above not to go with Vieira

Oh please no..
We'll get a good idea on Wednesday depending on who coaches the U19s.Any official word from the club yet? And if not, any ITK aware of when we should expect something?
Call me insane but what about Gary Monk (if he gets sacked). He went straight into management from playing and did a decent job. You will not find a better qualified manager of his age given his experience in the premier league. Swansea massively overachieved with him as manager!
He would get offers from other clubs even prem clubs but it would be a wise move for him. Give him some time to develop as a manager and coach.
Why so 2sips, having never had a break it would give him the chance to work with a much bigger team and learn a few things along the way.
Lol, they must have spent ages on that article trying to figure out another spot to put"Class of '92" in.A couple of press stories today saying that Simon Davies is going to be appointed - for example, this one in the Mail (warning - it focuses on his 'Class of '92' background at a Trafford-based rival club): http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Patrick-Vieira-agreed-New-York-City-role.html
