All in here please. Hopefully the second half performance last night will give us a lift and kick start the season. Just hope Swansea don't sack Monk before Saturday, and get the inevitable "new manager" boost.

Hart

Sagna - Mangala - Otamendi - Clichy

Yaya Toure - Fernandinho

Navas - Silva - De Bruyne

Sterling

Hopefully Sergio will make the bench

tough one to predict. Feel quite sorry for Garry Monk though, going through their first real bad patch in the PL as far as i can remember, hope they stick with him and they come through it.

i like the looks of that little lad they got, the winger whose name escapes me, Navas take note.

KDB
Silva
Sterling
Bony

Tricky one to call but I would start with Bony and have Delph on the bench, after all we only have 3 fit centre midfielders.

.............Bony

Bony did well after coming on last night and as it's against his old club, I'd give him the start. Navas and Sterling give the team more balance and KDB needs a rest. Apart from the injured Kompany and Aguero, this was the line up that was dominating teams at the start of the season.

Montero.

I heard that the Chairman/CEO was going back to Swansea later in the week to sack him so no-one will be in place by Saturday anyway.
Back on topic, maybe a rest for KDB and thus start Bony. Given the injuries, the rest of the team more or less picks itself although I wouldn't bother with Clichy at right back, much as Sagna may need a rest.

I would be tempted to try navas at rb one day, cant be worse than clichy

That's the way I read it. But I'd pick Delph every single time, as long as he's fit, to play alongside Yaya and Fern. So someone's got to make way. Perhaps Navas. I'd hope Bony would be extra motivated about proving that he does in fact belong at this club, in front of his old one.

We just topped our CL group for the first time with a great second half performance that said a lot about our mentality. Swansea are in turmoil, the manager is looking like he's out the door and they have only won once in 12 (13?) games. We are huge odds on favourites.

Loss it is then.

Navas for KDB and if he's feeling refreshed Sagna for Clichy. KDB looks seriously tired so I think long term could do with a rest and clichy didnt do great at RB.

Bony looked good off the bench, lets see if he can look good off the bench a second time.

Is Sergio anywhere near for this one??

Other than that I think this is a tough game for Swansea, keep Monk and he'll know (and his team will know) he's a dead man walking, get rid of him and it will be an caretaker in most probability which will have them all feeling in limbo. Neither of these are ideal and they'll do very well to get close. 3-0 City.

Bony will be itching to fill his boots against Swansea, with Navas starting with Sterling, their pace will give us the impact needed, get 3 up and get KDB on for Silva, and Nacho for Bony, give his a run out, no mercy, we need to get that goal diff back up again!!!

Otamendi
Sagna
Yaya
Dinho

Silva
Navas
Bony

Bony to start against his old team, it may get him moving for once. Navas in for De bruyne because he's knackered, clichey instead of Kolorov bacause of pace.

I'll go for a 2-1 win for the blues.
