The weakness on this squad needs to be flushed out. How do we do it?

Why do they only play in the final 15 minutes when down two goals?

The pundit said this at 85'. We've heard this comment a million times it seems. It needs to end.

But how do we do it? Will this change with Pep or will the squad require an overhaul?

slight overhaul possibly, Yaya picks and chooses his games/moments inside games etc... some not up to it mentally. Manager also useless

For the amount of $$$$$ on the pitch, and the talent they have available on the bench as well.... lulls in-game are either
1) no leader on the pitch (Kompany being out...as usual)
2) no leader on the sideline (well.... this sort of goes without saying at this point)

replace Toure with Delph until we get the defending back in order. use YaYa as a sub mid-2nd half and let him have a high work-rate for 25-30 mins.

We're a big club now and need to make big decisions
Toure has to go
Pogba needs to come in
New full backs on both sides
And that's just for starters

Until then, KDB, Silva and Toure should not all start in the same team, unless we play with two holding midfielders who do not cross the half way line

I've absolutely no doubt that a club who have had a plan in place to get Guardiola (from all the stories knocking around, this certainly appears to be the case), then I'm pretty sure there is also a detailed plan about the playing staff. This season may be painful for some, but there's still a long way to go, and we're still in 4 competitions - but if Guardiola does come, I'm sure next season will be one of the most exciting most of us will remember.

The squad needs a massive overhaul and I suspect it will happen over the summer and the following two windows.

Can only see 4 or 5 of the current squad tops at our club in two years time.

MP has to go but hopefully we can limp into Chumps League this season and he can go with our best wishes.

Despite the additions over the summer we have gone backwards as a team under the misguided term that we entertain which we only do when the opposition is poor and lets us.

Most premiership sides are set up to challenge our weakness throughout the side , namely lack of work rate , speed of movement on and off the ball and inability or unwillingness for too many players to track back when required.

Work rate and pace , quick ball movement are what the premiership is about if we want to be successful or achieve our potential on a regular basis.

Watford, Palace and Leicester have unlocked the key this season and its little wonder they are all punching above their weight or should I say the so called bigger clubs falling well below their expected level.

When we are pressed , West Ham , Stoke, Liverpool , Spurs, we can and do fold and the players and MP's game plan or lack of it is fully exposed.

We have piss poor now for much of this season well below what even the most pessimistic of us would have expected.

Even against very mediocre sides like Norwich and Swansea to name but two we have played well below what we should and can and that is down to MP and the players thinking their reputations and a game plan too easy to come unstuck will do it for them.

Lack of general balls in the squad.

Liability Toure.

Pointless tactics (pushing full backs to overlap wingers and getting in each others way meaning losing the ball out of position)

Poor defenders who are playing too high a line.

No creatively defending set pieces/attacking set pieces.

Poor rotation of some players.

Leader needed.

Youth needs to be introduced to freshen up the squad.

Just for starters, Pep will have a job on his hands.

I believe there's a segment where Nev and Carra highlighted the problems with our backline on the offense. They are slow, indecisive and has an apparent lack of guile. For me, our full backs need to fking go.

Shouldn't have been allowed in in the first place, transfers have been absolute shite except for sterling and de Bruyne

Pellegrini has just given up months ago and the players have as well

How do we flush it out?

First step is to change the one major variable we can.

The manager. The team clearly don't want to play for him and that's the most charitable explanation I have for the procession of half arsed displays we are treated to.

We can start on the players close season.

Get rid of Sagna, Kolorov, Clichy, Mangala, Demichellis, Toure, Fernando, Bony for starters.

Oh and Pellegrini.

Problem solved.
Nasri and Navas aswel, I hope Roberts has a great second half of the season to force his way in but can't see Manuel trusting him enough though.

The problem is, who in gods name would take them
Think another club of Valencia's level would take Mangala.
Demichelis' contract runs out at 2016.
Drive Bony back to Swansea.
Sell Kolarov to Serie A.
Toure still has market value, the problem is his wages.

The rest I have no idea but they need to be rid, ASAP. Good luck to Pep.
