Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

I don't know why anyone is worried about him going to arsenal when he's said time and time again he only dreams of playing for the big 2 in Spain, on account of being half spanish.

Honestly think he could go to Real in the summer. Barca would love to have him but no need with their front 3 and I could definitely see this being Benzema's last season in Madrid

Might be in prison next season. Naughty naughty

The fact that we can offer a realistic chance of winning titles, a world class set of players to learn from, state of the art training facilities, higher wages and more than likely the opportunity to work with the most successful manager of recent times gives us a significant advantage.

People say the same shit about being on the bench about all the players who join us and are wrong 90% of the time. If Aubameyang couldn't get in a squad with an ageing Navas, unreliable Bony and a perpetually injured Aguero then Arsenal can have him to join to their list of bottlers.

Am I a Gooner if I say Arsenal have a realistic chance of winning the league (given they are top), am I a Gooner if I say playing with Ozil and Sanchez would be very appealing? Am I a Gooner is I say Arsenal's London Colney training ground was so good, the England team used it during the time Wembley was being built.

Of course he would get in our squad, but would he get in the team? Arsenal could offer Aubameyang the chance to be the undisputed number 1 striker. Whilst we could not!! And why ignore the fact Arsene Wenger has been a pull factor for many of the top players to have joined Arsenal? Being a London clubs certainly helps them as well.

I fking loathe fans, who think we are entitled, as it is bad for our reputation. Do I think a player would rather sit on the City bench, rather than be a first team player for Arsenal, United, or Chelsea.......no.

As for the great player we have on our bench. Who the F are they? Jovetic, Balotelli, Dzeko, Bony, Nasri - they are not great players like Aubameyang is

Aubameyang is one of the really top players in the world football, and he wouldnt tolerate sitting on the bench.

Sell bony for 20 mil, get aubam for something around 40.

Done, you could start playing 4-4-2 in away games.

I know a lot of people don't like Raphael Honegstein on here but he spoke at great length on Monday about why he couldn't see arsenal signing him and a lot of it made sense. Wenger has slowly come to terms with fact that big transfer fees are a necessity at times, but it would be another thing all together for him to sign a player at those kind of prices when he turned down the opportunity to sign him for £8m not so long ago. And as others have said, Aubameyang has clearly stayed his desire to play in Spain. With changes afoot at Real Madrid you'd think he'd be tempted to see what happens there whilst his stock is so high.

I "fking" loathe people who choose to ignore half of the post they're replying to.

As for the entitlement comment; I couldn't give a toss if he joins us or not. My post was a response to you saying that Arsenal would have the upper hand. This was based around one simple argument about game time so I provided some counterarguments regarding higher wage, higher quality of our squad and being the more likely of the two clubs to improve on it, higher chance of silverware and the fact that Guardiola appears to be heading our way. I didn't say anything about Wenger as I don't think he'll factor into it much as it looks like he'll be calling it a day shortly. These are a combination of facts and educated guesses so I apologise if that equates to entitlement in your little world.

Also, I never said anything about you being an Arsenal fan so I'm not sure where the whole "am I a gooner if" stuff comes from. I really couldn't care if you supported Yeovil Town or the LA Lakers.

Yeah Tugay, well lets hope that Arsene doesnt call it a day too soon, because if he did, I know were Gaurdiola is headed next. And its not Manchester.

He's one of the most inform players in the world. To be considered among the best he has to be showing this kind of form for more than half a season.

And you are almost definitely an Arsenal fan and if you're not, you need to climb out of their asshole for some air every now and then, the brain needs oxygen to function properly.

Im not, I am just pissed as I cant believe we might throw away a league title this season. Man United are not good enough, Chelsea imploded, leaving us and Arsenal. Yet we have this belief that we are 'going to win the league' on the assumption we are better than Arsenal. We have this mentality that we are entitled to winning. Too many fans, and I fear the players, dont take Arsenal seriously enough. And that only gives an advantage to Arsenal, by us underestimating them.

Assuming Aubamayang would rather join City over Arsenal derives from this belief. Of course we could offer Aubamayang chances of trophies, money, facilities, top players to play with, but so can Arsenal!!

If Arsenal win the league, it will have much to do with us underestimating them.

Aww bless. Did Santa forget that you desperately needed to get a grip?

When Mr Bean leaves Arsenal the only real change will be that their youth team won't play with a limp.

He is suited for the league and his team's current style of play. Their creative players are in top form plus he is very one dimensional. He is not worth a massive transfer fee.
