It's been a slow newsweek, I've started a thread on the best individual performance you've seen from a City player.

In the interests of balance, what is the worst performance you've ever seen from a City player?

In no particular order, I'd mention:

Garcia away at Wigan

Milner at home to Sunderland

Yaya away at The Swamp last season

Robinho away at Portsmouth

Javi Garrido - at Chelsea (0-6)
Christian Negouai - any time he played

Not his fault and I know he's a true blue but I remember a game Richard edghill played where absolutely everything went wrong for him. He left the field at half time in tears.

Pollock?

Simon Tracey?

David Brightwell?

These three names, I bet everyone can name the occasion I mean.
Thus surely making them stand out as the worst fr a long long time.

Gelson Fernandes at home to Forest in the FA Cup. Still fills me rage just thinking about it.

Does Boyata at home to Arsenal count?

Haha based on 4 minutes? Probably Nasri's best performance at the Etihad.

Worst performances.....been a few.

Robinho at Spurs in 2009, I think (I am terrible with years). Think it was a midweek game. It may have been Hughes' second to last game in charge. Robinho's performance was the most pathetic I have winessed by one of our own.

Unacceptable from someone with so much talent and big game experience. I have watched some shite wearing our shirt but I have never witnessed such a lazy and gutless performance. I accepted poor quality down the years but not trying and showing nothing for your colleagues is as bad as it gets.

Petrov against Everton at home, when he was sent off, probably comes closest to that.

Two spring to mind.

Machin fielded Gerry Taggart at right back away at Blackburn in April 1989 - the day of Hillsborough. A slow, lead footed, all left foot centre half at right back against Scott Sellars who promptly arse raped him and we were stuffed 4-0. All 4 goals came via Taggarts side of the field.

Javi Garcia away at Wigan Dec 2012 - he lasted 50 mins and was that bad he held his hands up as he went off. Milner came on and we turned 0-0 into a 2-0 win shortly after.

Fernando against Middlesborough in the FA Cup last season gets a dishonourable mention, as does every City player in the 2013 FA Cup final.
