You're wrong there, but that's what makes it so fucking funny.

All in all, a continuation of the theme, that Baconface has fucked the rags to boost his own reputation. They're struggling like fuck, and he's on a global book tour, not giving a fuck.

That sounds a bit harsh, he has been knighted you know and is therefore a very very nice man,

Good to see scum united struggling. Their fans have been used to winning, and its fun to see them eating shed loads of humble pie.

Actually, Bryan Briggs did win his first game in charge. Don't you remember the wankfest in the media at the time?

However, he didn't win any of the other three.

The murky black cloud that has lingered over the swamp since the old piss can went and retired to the wine cellar has merged into one, I can't remember when the shiteness from the chosen one began, the brief flirtation from the family man and the sheer boredom from Lvg ends. It's fucking delightful.

Isn't it just?

Who'd have thought ten years ago that the two clubs with Manchester in their name would have had such a reversal of fortunes?

It's brilliant and I'm fucking loving it!

The first post of this thread says a lot about their supporters.

I have never been to Old Trafford and I have to genuinely appreciate how good our stadium going fans have been in the last few weeks. Sitting in a room with a blanket on I have found it hard to sit through matches, so for people to spend hard earned money plus their time and still manage to shout & sing through matches is a phenomenal effort. I don't want this to be RAWK like but it would be pathetic if the club don't act soon because our fans deserve better
Here's a belter of a post:

And long may it continue.with their youth teams getting battered at the weekend, again, and not forgetting utd u14,s losing to City u 14 9-0,and the champions league u21,s getting routinely smashed away and drawing 0-0 at home , this season promises to be the biggest laugh ever at the swamp.happy days.

Would be nice if our boys pulled their finger out and give us another premier league trophy to parade round the city of Manchester to get those lemmings in stretford suicidal to really rub it in.

I think the only thing that could halt their decline is a change of ownership and as long as the Glazers can milk the tit, that isn't going to happen.

We can never know for sure of course, but it's been frequently ventilated that united has been propping up the rest of their business empire for some time. Secondary shopping malls in tertiary locations cannot have been providing much of a return on capital in recent years and the march of internet shopping will only accentuate that deficiency. That isn't necessarily a good thing however, as they may be forced to take a decent offer if it comes along to clear the decks in their wider business empire.

There aren't that many people around with the kind of spare cash it would take to buy them and invest properly. The academy, their training facilities, their corporate facilities are all poor in comparison to ours. A couple of billion to buy them and a another to bring their team and facilities up to our standard. Unless there's a rich fan our there who is desperate to own them it would make more sense buying someone like Everton and building them a new stadium.

I see that Derby County have to play a tough away at Burnley tonight before the FA cup v the scum on Friday.

It started going pear-shaped at the height of their success. The GPC turned them into the most hated club since Leeds in the 70's because of his 'win at any price' ethos: cheat, feign injury, dive for penalties, intimidate officials, use a sycophantic media to spread venomous bile about opposition clubs and players. Outspend every other club, ultimately buying every trophy in that fucking cesspit they call home, and do your level best (with the assistance of David Gill) to stop any other clubs from doing the same.
It was always going to be downhill for them the moment Kim-Jong Pisscan retired (nobody stays top of the pile indefinitely), and because of the way the club and the plastic fans (under the domination of the bully) behaved towards everyone else, specifically us, they burned every fucking bridge there is to burn and are now finding out who their true friends are...ie, no fucker.

If that club had acted with a little more decency and respect they would -albeit begrudgingly- be respected for their achievements. But as it is, most football fans are enjoying them crash and burn. I know I bloody well am.
Me too, excellent summing up of whisky noses legacy
