1-2 players may change but the overall plan won't change, it hasn't all season and we'll get absolutely slaughtered. That isn't a reaction to today either, i had this opinion before today.

The thing with Spurs is they're able to mix it up, they have pacy wingers and offensive fullbacks that can put in great balls and get plenty in the box to support but they also play some good football on the deck through the middle with Dembele, Erkisen and Alli, quick incisive high tempo passing with actual movement off the ball. I'm far more worried about Otamendi being given the run around than MDM. They'll entice him out of the back, have him chase the ball to nearly the halfway line and then play a simple pass into the vacated chasm for one of their midfield runners. they're also capable of hitting on the counter and playing it direct if necessary. Pochettino is every Pellegrini isn't and has a vastly inferior squad playing football we can only faintly recall.

Was quite surprised the boo's didn't ring out today, i think they just might after next weeks game. Have zero confidence in our manager and i've not been less confident going into a game since pre-takeover days.

Young, enthusiastic manager whose team play with pace, who uses tactics & a formation that gets the very best out of players versus Pellegrini.

:-S

We will get bum raped. Same set up, same gung ho fuck the defending shambles we've seen all season.

Hart

Sagna - Kompany - Otamendi - Clichy

Fernando - Fernandinho

Silva - Toure - Sterling

Aguero

Almost this, but cant see Vinnie playing

Hart

Zabba - Sagna - Otamendi - Clichy

Fernandinho - Ferndando/Delph

Silva - Nacho - Sterling

Aguero

Yaya on at 60 for Nacho when the game has slowed a little

This for the rest of the season, with the injured first-choicers slotting back when available

The only light at the end of the tunnel for this one is the 8 days rest and preparation time we have. Not that Pellegrini seems to do any but you never know.

I'd bench Clichy for Kolorov, Demi for Sagna, Toure for Nacho, Celina for injured Silva. Energy in midfield, support for Aguero. Play for lots of free kicks and give them all to Celina.

Clichy and Sagna definitely. Silva, regardless of injury, isn't worth his place right now, but I'm not sure who should play. We need people to work hard and get amongst them, so maybe a youngster is someone who could do that. Toure looks uninterested recently, and I'm one of his fans, so he doesn't deserve his place either. Maybe with Celina, Sterling and Ian we could be guaranteed chasing down, and some much needed intensity - which was lacking yesterday.

The issue is, with Silva and Toure missing, where is the creativity? We're probably hoping that Sterling comes good, and you're probably hoping that Celina does the business!

Too be honest every time Nacho supports Aguero it doesn't take great service for things to happen. Neither Toure nor Silva are playing well although Silva started well. Terrible time to lose Navas and KDB.

Wanted to make this to say there needs to be significant changes to the team and instructions for this match. I'm worried this could be worse than the Leicester game. The way Pochettino has Tottenham pressing teams i'm worried this will be over by half time.

After that today in my mind theres a couple of players that shouldn't play for us again. Kolarov and MDM need to be dropped for good because they're are just not good enough. Silva and Yaya need to be dropped to show the rest of the team that 50% effort will not cut it.

Assuming its still the same players available, My team:

---------------------------------------------------Hart
Zaba/Sagna------------Humphreys/Sagna--------------Otamendi------------------Clichy
Zaba/Celina----------------Fernando-------------Fernandinho---------------Sterling
-----------------------------------------------Nacho
----------------------------------------------Aguero

Honestly feel that Humphreys could do a better job that Demichelis. Also need a defensive midfield line up with specific instructions that Fernando and Fernandinho do not move from the spots in front of the back 4, I want us to have 7 players (including Joe) back at all times. Sick of us getting caught out on the break.
That team should do it. Lets just hope nobody notices that there are 14 players in it;-)

I think Navas would have been a very good option yesterday. He has his faults, but by Christ we needed him yesterday. KdB goes without saying - he needs to up his workrate, but we have no other player who has his end product.

Are we at the bare bones stage? Hear Silva's out ffs.
Anyway, footballs a funny old game and I see us winning this.
Hart zabba Sagna otamendi Clichy
Fernando Delph
Barker/celina Fernandinho. Sterling
Aguero.

On bench to come on would be three from Kolarov vinny yaya and nacho.

Bare bones team :(

Hoping at least 1 of Kompany or Mangala is back Demichelis is far to slow.

Wouldn't surprise me if we beat Spurs next week but we haven't beat anyone from the top 6 yet and that's a worry.

Injuries really are killing us it's beyond a joke now. Bony was only supposed to miss 1 game he's been out for nearly a month.

Hart

Sagna Kompany/Mangala Otamendi Clichy

Fernando Delph

Sterling Fernandinho Celina

Aguero

About as strong as we can get but he'll almost certainly play Yaya and play Delph on the Left side again :( Going to predict a 2-2 draw.
