sorry Jesus ;) in all honesty I can't think of one thing (bar experience) that Navas could have on BarkerA ridiculous thing to say regarding Navas
I take it then your watching the u21 derby? A young playing learning his trade who is frankly light years behind someone like Navas.sorry Jesus ;) in all honesty I can't think of one thing (bar experience) that Navas could have on Barker
i'd love to mate, unfortunately in work atm what i'm saying is what does Navas offer that Barker couldn't right now? I know that he's not played many senior games (only 1 or 2 I think) but why does that make him lightyears away from Navas? one of the most frustrating things I've ever seen with City is Navas being given the ball out right, the opposing full back stand in front of him, he then duly shits himself and passes back to Sagna, this then happens 3 or 4 times in the match before he changes his mind once or twice to pass to Toure instead, when was the last time Navas, a winger, took on his man? At least Barker could go out and play with no fear, attack his full back, i'd rather him or Navas lose the ball trying to beat a man than just keep passing for the sake of it because he's too afraid to try something.I take it then your watching the u21 derby? Navas frustrates me because it's clear to see he has the ability, and he does a job well in a defensive sense but we don't play that way anymore, maybe under Mancini in the season we finished 3rd he'd have had more joy, it just amazes me that none of the coaching staff have just told him take on his man and see what happens. This is why, for me, you may as well throw in the likes of Barker, Celina, Bytiqi or whoever, a good run of appearances in the first team might just galvanise them, give them the light at the end of the tunnel they need.I'd love barker to make it- truth is he's gone backwards the last year. Navas offers far more than that-yes he can frustrate but we sure miss his work rate, ball retention, ability to carry the ball and defensive cover.
Angelino and Humphreys stand a chance

You're awfully melodramatic for a 48 year old then, you sound like a teenage girl. It was one kids game ffs.I've got more chave than Angelino and I'm 48. He piss slow and has no physical presence. Good left foot yes, but that's about it. In fact anyone who has witnessed that tonight will realised that we are a long way from producing anything that would improve our ever ageing first team squad and that is an absolute fact.

Some of the reactions to this u21 game are embarrassing.
