Ferdinand on BT Sport

I thought he was okay tbh.He gave an honest appraisal of our back line and it was hard to disagree. He offered the thought that Mangala and kompany look our best pairing, and it's hard to dis-agree with that as stats support it.

I watched on Fox Sports 1, and they had Alexi Lala, Warren Barton and someone else. It wasn't perfect, but Barton acknowledged how well we'd played in the 1st half, and said the CL was obviously priority, so resting all the big guns for the FAC was the right decision.

to be fair it looks like he's wound his neck in a bit & has stopped shouting out the first thing that comes into his empty head although he said Sterling will be sent off in the Euro's if he carrys on diving ha

Couldn't agree more Damo. I get bt sport as I have bt broadband but this lot make sky look balanced and informed. Can't abide the drug test cheat obviously, but owen runs him a close 2nd. Robbie Savage was pretty fair last night, as was Ian Darke (?) but that sly **** lineker ruined it with his first comment at the end of the first half about the players looking well rested. Wankers the lot of 'em. If i could possibly be so ungrateful as to ask one more favour of Sheikh Mansour it would be to buy sky and bt, fuck the lot of them off and install Andy Gray, Souness and (dare I say it) rat boy. Oh, and Buzzer as head of programming!

BT really do have the worst collection of pundits ever assembled in the history of TV - in addition to the 3 Stooges (Wio, Owen and McPointy) they have Scholesy, Savagey and Millsy (the bald one who says "Errrr" alot - not the boxing raonteur chap).
They're going to make a film about it called "Dipsticks Assemble".

I went off BT when they did away with Buzby. Then the company 'did a number' on us with our phone bill over 15 years ago and we vowed never to return the them.
Something about that Jake Humphrey cad I can't quite put my finger on to. Not for me BT.

That Savage programme on Saturday mornings is truly awful. With SKY it always makes me feel better sounding off to u2us@sky.co. But I haven't found a way of abusing BT - there doesn't seem to be a feedback e-mail.

Anyone know?

Why isn't Lakey on tv he'd be great for us

Lakey is going to be hosting a new Radio show on Real Radio XS when it rebrands to Manchester XS at some point in the near future. It will be on 6pm - 7pm daily (week day's I assume), Lakey will represent us & Alex Stepney United

Awful channel Bt hated it for a while defo be getting rid end of the season. What was funny was wen Rio went City prefer mangala at the back has he watched otemandi this season?

I swapped from Sky as I wanted the CL games plus it worked out a lot cheaper for a better package but the standard of their coverage is awful. I didn't think it was possible to lower the bar from Sky's level but BT have managed it eith ease. In fact they've lowered it so far that the World Limbo dancing champion would struggle to get under it.

Got another 6 months but might look at this Kodi stuff.

Sadly I only catched the second half, on a dodgy stream, last night but thought the two commentators were very positive about City during that period.

Savage could not praise Sterling enough for his performance and the co-commentator Pearce?? was praising the type of football we played and how we still went for another goal. The person I was with stated how complimentary they were about the team.

Strange how people want Ferdinand and Owen to big up City and say we did well, when some of our own 'supporters' cant even do that.

They are rag pricks, behaving like rag pricks, hardly a shock. The BT coverage is shite, I dont watch it anymore, i feel better for it.

Lineker was quite happy to join the bantz and let Ferdinand get away with "Well, the Danes were playing a big team."

This after he was pulled up for saying Kiev were shite because of not playing for so long, and why old Midget Land had still beaten United?

As you know, fella, I dismiss much of this "Agenda" stuff as paranoia. And I totally agree that the commentary was what you'd expect for an English club in Europe.

But the pre-match build up was fucking unbelievable. They literally didn't have a good word about the team. Not one. And it was full of enormous contradictions. I can't really remember the details, partly because someone rang me in the middle of it saying "Have you fucking heard this?" but you'd get someone incredulous at our defensive mistakes this season, and clips highlighting them, followed immediately by them saying how important Kompany is to the team. But no connection/correlation between the two. Not a great example but it was just awful punditry. Terrible. None of them had any knowledge or feel for the club and the season and the way we play. It was like a bunch of sneering pub fans.
