This thread is more about the songs sang on Sunday isn't it (Adam Johnson and the jihadi John one) rather than Munich. Only reason I brought it up was to make an entirely different point, and not to do with singing such songs.Munich..was a tragic plane crash that cost lives..give up singing it..it's disgusting.
No based on 33 years of 30 games a season, it was approaching my 1000 game following city and my 8th trip to Wembley. You?
Maybe it's just getting older and cringing at young knobheads.
I think a lot of the younger fans have a bit of 80's envy and try and recreate their own little world of stupidity to compensate.
It should be "We're shit and we know we are" at the moment!
....speak for yourself - I loved the 70's/80's..!You probably have a point there, they should just enjoy the films as we all know the reality wasn't a great deal of fun even looking back through blue blood splattered glasses.
I remember back in the late 60s at Filbert street Leicester fans singing Harry Robert's is our friend he kills coppers.
I reckon you're right there. Apart for the singing at Wembley, I have cringed at Blue on Blue in the stands on Sunday caused by liquid and other intake, a huge circle of dancing pushing shoving drunks at Anfield completely blocking the way for anyone else as they slopped themselves and drink around, and as you have just seen Blue on Blue on here by the internet fans who get snotty at anyone who does not hold their view from a safe distance from behind their screens. What will tomorrow bring?
Nothing makes an empty head even emptier than drink...and possibly drugs. Jumping around singing such utter offensive drivel they think it makes them sound and look tough and rebellious when it just makes them look sad, thick and stupid.Perhaps I am getting old. As for Johnstone he was a Sunderland player when he committed the offences but that would obviously escape an empty head.
Worry not while you hold the fort for the flappers ;)Careful now the clappers will hunt you down!!
I never liked Prince much. ;-)
It's not the singing so much, it's the fact that some of them are so fucking angry and looking to kick off every two minutes. And that's against fellow blues. Seems to happen nearly every away game. They never look at the pitch either. I'm sure many of them have no idea of the score half the time. This thread embodies the gentrification of football.
Young men in a boisterous mood having had a few drinks will always sing songs that offend those with delicate sensibilities
Get over yourself
Why? Did people not complain about songs that were sung at games in the 70's and 80's?This thread embodies the gentrification of football.
