He's won a trophy so will feel vindicated and can now see out the reminder of season not giving a toss, all this talk he's a prefessional he wouldn't do that is bollocks ...

Teams makes some sense to me tbh, considering we will be playing against a flat back 8 parked inside their own box. No space in behind for Sterling, need a physical presence up front to occupy some of the defenders and give Aguero a bit more space. Would probably have played Kolarov though if I was planning on breaking down a team who won't attack. Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic.

Bony was the only one who came out of the Pool game with any credit. Willing to give him a chance today.

Much as I don't like him, you would think with paying two up top against a side that is frankly shit and who shouldn't give us any problems defensively, that Kolorov would have been selected rather than Clichy. He plays him when there is no one to smash his crosses into but overlooks him when we do.

Personally I would have made a couple more changes today to freshen things up a bit.
No the only good call by Manuel is keeping Kolarov on the bench - anyway leaving late for the game, hope traffic is not too bad.

He's not going to get his form back sitting on the bench to be fair. Bony over nacho is mind boggling though
He needs a rest. Today was a perfect chance to get that playing against the worse team in the country. I take your point and want nothing more than to see him get back to his best but on this occasion I'd have given him the day off.

Thank fuck we go with 2 real strikers upfront as it seems like they play with 3CBs, and with quite shit CBs, frankly.

But yeah, having Bony instead of Kelechi baffles me.

Hugo lloris gets way too much praise here and else where.. Makes basic errors
