I started a thread on season tickets. Seems like a lot on here started in the sixties and seventies. Shame that those points were never added. How do "new fans" accumulate enough points to get tickets for these away games?

Probably an overnight super fan, we have had loads since the 2007 takeover.
you deserved itIt's always been the same. I never go to aways now (no longer a ST holder) but years ago I used to go to a few particularly those around the Midlands as that's where I'm from. I recall only too well getting proper twatted from behind at West Brom by some wanker, apparently because I have a Midlands accent.
How could he "assault" your eyes, he didn't do enough to assault anything, in fact watching on TV, it was hard to even see he was even on the pitch, as he rarely appeared on screen, he was anonymous he could have been an "extra".Was it as devastating as Bony's assault on my eyes yesterday?
Its quite easy when we don't sell out, as we haven't on many occasions this season. How do "new fans" accumulate enough points to get tickets for these away games?
and still there will complaints of the loyalty system. Its quite easy when we don't sell out, as we haven't on many occasions this season.
It was not a newcomer. The lad doing the punching was old school. I seen him before, he was shouting bandwagon as he was throwing punches and kicks.
Tickets were on open sale for our end yesterday. I had to get a duplicate from the ticket office and others were coming in paying cash for our end
Or maybe they wouldn't have been city fans to start with? They would have been sectioned then in the bad old days
The elephant in the room is the rapidly expanding drug culture, that contributes to random acts of aggression, not just at City away games, but other teams as well.
We can all remember isolated incidents from the 80s, but nothing as consistently uncomfortable as this.
Mind you, in the 80s, if you went to the toilet, it was usually for a piss
Agreed, some of the older fans can be confrontational as well. Every club has its set of idiots. Not sure you can blame this on new fans. I've seen it happen loads of time, even at home games well before the takeover.
you deserved it
I witnessed two fans on the Kippax in 89 fighting over trevor Morley as a circle of fans watched on.
The winner got some poppers from his mate and the runner up got twatted with bananas.Proves the old maxim that some things are worth fighting for.
What did the runner-up get?
Is the correct answer. The elephant in the room is the rapidly expanding drug culture, that contributes to random acts of aggression, not just at City away games, but other teams as well.

I thought Raheem Sterling was the elephant in the room, so this must be the elephant in the stands. Which by reckoning leaves Bony as the elephant on the pitch. The elephant in the room is the rapidly expanding drug culture, that contributes to random acts of aggression, not just at City away games, but other teams as well.
