Dynamo Kiev - Post Match Thread

So I see. Even moderators seem to to do it. Some comments look like the work of the deranged. Or rags fans. Or both. Perhaps they we sniffing something in their mums' toilet at half time.

The main thing was that we got through, If City get through the next round and the one after that in the same way I will be delighted. Unfortunately tickets for the Big Match will not be available as the same sort of people will be using their points collection albums.

Personally I think it's amazing that we're into the q/f of the champions league, and could advance further as long as we avoid Barca and Bayern, and yet for most people the season is already over. Personally i'm buzzing for the draw Friday.

OR maybe they just disagree with you and maybe you aren't always right? Your attitude to any poster who disagrees with you stinks the place out.

Christ, if that was his best night ever he must be easily pleased... he'll probably soil his keks with excitement watching Pep's City next season ;)
I think he meant the experience of staying up late the tram and city square to tell the truth. The batman figure came out of his pocket half way through the second half.

Well I'm still shivering from how cold it was last night. Poor game poor atmosphere but we're into the last 8. Obviously Benfica and Wolfsburg preferences, but I think we could do Atleti and maybe Madrid if we are on our game. Madrid have looked average when I've watched them recently.

Points collection albums?

No understanding of modern technology. Stamping on free speech. Randomly pidgeonholing people into being 'the enemy' & 'disloyal' because they don't share your opinion.

I notice your occupation says 'retired'. Were you a judge by any chance ?

We are talking about Mangala a £42,000,000 centre half, Sterling - the £50,000,000 winger and arguably one of our best players in Europe this season, and Iheanacho, the player who scored a hattrick on his last start. It's not a case of League 2 cast offs - these are able footballers.

You're wasting your time mate, they had to score 3 away goals to take it to extra time, Sterling and Nacho are being treated appallingly, how the fuck Bony makes the bench over Nacho astounds me.Call it hindsight if you like but a bit of foresight and player management would have seen Vinny on the bench to start the game, preserving him for a big big season run in-if we were 2-0 down at half time Vinny could have been brought on.

Its just another baffling set of team selections he's made since he arrived.

Have you not taken your medicine this morning? Go and have a nap, you'll be feeling OK by dinner time then you can go and feed the birds or something. Got to keep active at your age.

I have always found the education of children important but with those kids like you I wonder if it is too big a job.

As a typical child of the internet, someone has taught you how to use a keyboard and to hide behind it but you still have so much to learn Sonny Jim.

Ahh you were a headmaster.

That explains it.

I just don't have time for blokes like yourself. I give respect to those who deserve it and judging from your posts on here after a 9 year absence you've done nothing to earn any from me. If it helps you to think I'm an uneducated keyboard warrior then good for you.

I didn't really see Pellers team selection as baffling in the main. He played Jesus instead of Raheem because of his defensive work and ball retaining ability. Zaba came in for Sagna maybe was a bit of a suprise. Other than that it was the same team as in Kiev. Only decision I took exception to was bony over Kelechi on the bench.

Thought it was a mature and controlled performance. Yaya was great. Of the others I thought Fernando, Clichy and Aguero played well. Navas worked really hard. Absolutely gutted for Vinnie.

If the jester's cap fits put it on your own head, Mr Pot.

I suggest you read back this thread with your eyes AND mind open and you will see Mr Kettle did not start this nonsense.

With a half crocked team for the derby, the last thing we need is moaning fans on Sunday.

Not picking Sterling made perfect sense if you take the time to actually think about it.

He's played 41 games - more than anyone else in the squad.

He was our only attacking midfielder fit at one point, he's had to play loads to pick up the slack from KDB, Silva, Nasri and Navas' injuries.

And now Navas and Silva have come back to fitness he can get a rest.

This place is getting more and more toxic, anyone would think we are fighting relegation.

luckily supporting City is a lot more pleasurable than reading bile from the usual misery arses on here.

sort yer heads out

I have perfectly open eyes and mind thank you, it's not your opinion that bothers me, just your attitude. Oh, and moaning fans on here have no effect on the team, much better that they moan on here rather than at the match.

I just think it's the same posters in various thread which gives the impression that it's the majority of the forum when it patently isn't. Most of the people I know, even those who are deeply unhappy with this season, have a significant sense of perspective.

Silva is anything but fit which is the main reason I wanted Sterling to start instead. He might have been involved in 41 games but he's hardly played the full 90 in every one.
It's all personal choice though I suppose.

You've got absolutely no self awareness have you? Go back a few years and read some of your own posts, you might find the irony in that last one you've just made.

Wheras those who complain about the current situation have no fucking idea that Pep Guardiola is taking over, or how the academy is going or how the club is being built.

Only people like you understand stuff like that. Of course having an incompetent manager now & watching a team of journeymen run away with the Premier League wouldn't matter to anyone if only they understood the 'perspective'.

Like you.
