The derby defeat was hard to take and unfortunately saw a couple more injuries added to the never ending list. The international friendlies hardly matters to try and forget about it.

A game at Bournemouth will. One of the away games l was looking forward to when the fixtures came out last summer. I even skipped battling for a ticket to go to Paris in favor of taking the mrs. to this one. Easy choice really. Skip what is waiting for security and sponsoring UEFA in a dreadful area of Paris to what I expect this Saturday.

Let's hopefully welcome back either of KdB, Nasri and Delph. We can do with some fresh blood. Again. Otamendi in for Demichelis and let the hunting season continue. I'm sure Kompany always ment it would be other teams hunting us when he said these famous words ...

Think he meant he had just been watching the film.

Yeah, we're hunting tigers with one of those clown guns that goes 'BANG' when you fire it.

Unfortunately the hunting is orchestrated by pellegrini. The players are sent out blindfolded with pea shooters and told to 'play their own game' when hunting well organised packs of hungry wild animals. The hunters become the hunted

Bournemouth? Just hope for a sudden and very unexpected turnaround. Hopefully Fernando and Fernandinho will give us the protection and fight in the middle to actually try and make a game of it, then we just hope Aguero has a few moments of individual brilliance to win us the game. No kompany to rely on so it will probably be the usual defensive disarray we're all too familiar with, but we live in hope

Bournemouth one win from the magic 40 points. What a great season they have had a what a talented manager. They had some serious injuries too at the start of the season.

We have only won 2 in 11 away and were fortunate to win both of those.

1-1

So here we are again. Into the final straight of the season. It's now or never folks. This is the last of the last chance saloons. If we blow it this weekend I'll throw my hat into the ring of fans who conceded the title. I'm surprised how many gave up earlier going off City's track record of being comeback kings. Kane & Vardy are looking fit & sharp for our two biggest challengers so they need to break an ankle getting of the couch or something similar. Its squeeky bum time...can Leicester, Spurs & the Arse hold their nerve. One thing in City's favour is that last August, those three would have been happy with a top four finish. City would only have been happy with top. I can't see Ranieri or Pochettino holding their nerve to be fair. This is my favourite part of the season coming up and I'd never bet on or against City. The great unpredictables.

You still think we can win the title? Your world must be one fantastical and joyous place filled with rainbows and unicorns! Haha!
Ahh fuck it. You stay positive, Pell. Don't let us miserable bastards bring you down.

Just been reading Jack Butland is out of the Euros. I don't wish any player to get injured but football changes on moments like that. Sterling, Hart & Kompany just got wiped out for over a month.
In 2012 we chased Man Yoo's 8 point gap down with 6 games left and they're one of the worlds biggest clubs & at the time had the most experienced & successful British manager of all time (even though his nose was very red).
Admittedly the gap this time will be 12 points if we win our game in hand but there will be one game more. So in effect a 9 point difference with six games left...if things start to move in Citys favour this weekend...one point more to chase down Leicester & Spurs who are new to this squeeky bum thing. Yes fine margins. I don't see huge differences between 2012, 2014 & this year. Just finer margins. Plus crap form from City but that's a game by game or minute by minute basis thing for me. Human beings can change form in a split second ie Gillingham, Spurs away (3-4), Qpr etc etc. Getting Nasri, De Bruyne & Delph back will make a difference. What else is their to hope for? World peace? I'm not totally daft ;-).

Could you post a pic of one of your unicorns from the dreamworld you inhabit?
