And I'm forever grateful, to you, Jeanette and Ken.And who came to your rescue? :)
Assume you guys will be looking to do the semi-final regardless of opponent?

Wum :-/The only people who disagree with this system are point whores or JCL's.....
That won't be true. I know people who thought it was shit in Paris who went through the process themselves. Their hotel was in the North of the city and they had to travel across the whole city to the South taking hours out of their short time there to sort their tickets out and when they got there there was a queue taking more time out of their shirt stay. The only people who disagree with this system are point whores or JCL's.....
And double your costsYou could always book with Thompson and avoid the inconvenience.............
United have done this for years, and have started it for league games over here my mate rekons
And double your costs
Had the game been on the Tuesday I wouldn't have got my ticket as they stopped 45 minutes before my train arrived

You know my thoughts on the process mate.
The club is making an easy task incredibly difficult and someone with an ounce of common sense needs to step in and put it right.
Which is why there should have been consultation with the fans who regularly go to the Euro awaysWould never work for domestic games as lots of fans only arrive in the city within an hour of kick off so not practical to do.
Whilst I have no problem with them doing it for euro aways they need to come to us ie a central point and not having 2000 blues trading across a city wasting a morning or afternoon in the process.
They would have swapped the names, not the pointsWell I'm neither of those but I'll miss out under this system cos my season ticket isn't in my name and there are plenty of people in the same boat.
I took on my mum's season ticket when she moved away after she had it for only a year and have paid for it and earned points on it ever since (2004) Never changed the name on it as never occurred to us at the time that it would be a problem and when it did, city refused to swap the names over.
I know three lads who share two SCs because of how expensive it's become in recent years. They each go to a certain amount of games, share the cost three ways, but one of them will never be able to go to a Euro away because his name's not on any of the tickets.Well I'm neither of those but I'll miss out under this system cos my season ticket isn't in my name and there are plenty of people in the same boat.

As far as I know Utd dont do this for domestic games. Unless they've implemented it v recently. Speaking to red mate a month of so ago and no mention of it and he does all awaysUnited have done this for years, and have started it for league games over here my mate rekons

Been to Rochdale then :-)They could ask people for a picture at the start of the season and print the picture corresponding to the name/number on file on the ticket. Then they can be checked on the turnstile. Less hassle all round.
(Did this with my credit card a few years back when I was travelling in some less salubrious countries.)
