The semi final home leg v Real Madrid.

All we hear is the famous Anfield European nights. To be fair they make a real effort.

The Celtic European nights are amazing too and you have to take your hat off to their fans.

We are on the biggest stage now it's time to show the world that our fans are up there when needed !

The Wembley semi v Rags, the Hamburg game. Let's show BT sport, Wio, The pointer, Scholes, Owen, !

Get in early, bring all the flags , I'm not a scarf man but fuck it dig out our scarves.

Make the Etihad a cauldron of noise and Mancunian passion !

The Spanish could crumble and we are half way there!

Can see this being a good atmosphere. If we score first inside 10 mins the roof will go off.

I'll be in 315 so hopefully it will be a good atmosphere

Fans wont be as nervous with the scoresheet being blank, expecting a really good atmosphere. Hopefully theres plenty of people spread out around the stadium ready to get the crowd going. We're nowhere near as bad as the media portray us, in the quarters we were all just nervous but watching Atletico against Barcelona the other day, those home fans must have been nervous as fuck but they got the stadium completely rocking.

I genuinely thought the atmosphere was amazing against PSG. It was loud, passionate and most importantly, spontaneous. I've been to AJAX, PSG, Bayern, Barca, Real, Gladbach, Milan etc, I've seen big atmospheres, I'm not having it that we weren't good the other week.

If only it wasn't a set of bitter rags evaluating it!

The semi final is going to be the next level.

The atmosphere will look after itself for this one. The roof will be coming off. Unless we go a goal or two down, of course.

Problem is we go a goal down and that's that people stop singing (or not enough singing for sound to travel around the ground) we need to push these players on and get right at these Spanish twats especially ladyboy!

We've got to ignore the score and just back the team.

The Hamburg game was nuts and we were 3-1 down from the first leg and then 4-1 down on aggregate after 12 minutes. I was still nervous but there was a belief and a real hope inside the ground and everyone was just blaring out noise and it was incredible. This was the side we had that day;
Given, Richards, Onuoha, Dunne, Bridge, Zabaleta (Fernandes 77), Kompany, Ireland, Elano (Sturridge 84), Robinho, Caicedo.
Subs Not Used: Hart, Garrido, Petrov, Evans, Logan

We're not talking semi-finals v. Real Madrid. There's no excuse for this not being an unbelievable atmosphere and I think it will. I think it will be a different level and I think we'll win the game.

Hmmm...

See, it doesn't matter whether we had a 150,000 seater stadium with everyone doing the fucking Poznan for 90mins, the BT Sport "Pundits" would have something negative to say and they will find a few empty seats of the people who are still on the concourse taking a leak or having a pint.

They'll zoom in on empty seats whilst saying "emptihad" and they will focus on the old grumpy looking bloke who's just lost his teeth on the floor (after we score ;) ) and mention how our fans are shit.

Don't chant/be there for any other fucker than yourself as you are supporting your club.

Fuck the gutterpress

I think the point about spontaneity is a really good one. Anfield is impressive but there's something very manufactured about it that leaves me feeling cold and that's without Blue-tinted specs on.
I would much rather people sang because they genuinely wanted to rather than because they feel obliged to do so.

A lot of the crowd anxiety shown in the previous rounds should disappear. We have now achieved our minimum requirements. If we are being honest, any further progress is a bonus. We have a great chance but we are playing a side that had the most experience in this competition at this stage.
I think the players will also play with more freedom. Lots of positivity and if we have our full team available for both ties we really are capable of getting to the final.

It would probably help matters for the singing blocks who usually start the songs to sing songs that the whole crowd might get involved in. There was renditions of "Were not really here and Sheikh Mansour went to Spain" at Wembley that everyone joined in and it was really loud. These together with the usual Bluemoon and others like Stand up if you love City tend to get all parts of the ground involved. Bit cheesy but likely to have more effect than say "We don't give a fck cos were all pissed up"

Let's make a huge cock with UEFA on it.
Has @stony got a ticket??
