I know we r all pissed off but really are we that down ..u have teams like Chelsea with world class players and lying in 10th ..u have united the biggest spenders trying to finish in top four , humiliated in Europe under a manager who built the famous Ajax side ..then u have arsenal fans for whom this is a routine .. Guys okay we could have done better but it's not that bad after all ..we reached top four of CL, lost to real Madrid ..that too by a goal .. Sad but we were not winning CL each year ..this is slow progress but positive progress ..now let's get behind the team to finish in top four and pep gets a team which played semis last year and offers him ucl and bag full of money for signings .. We have not gone backwards ..our progress has slowed down but then other clubs have been struggling baadly .league is getting tougher ..let's accept realities .m not saying gaffer is good n support him , but some people are crying as if we r in 9th or 10th or in relegation zone.. Yesterday we played our first semis in history and conceded only one goal to a Galacticos side in 180 min ..yes we could not score but that's scope for improvement ..

TWO championships? I must have been asleep 1/2 a season of good football with Mancini's team them all down hill imagine another season of this clown and we would be facing relegation
 
Made a massive gaff yesterday picking Yaya from the start, conceded so much space and isolated Sergio. I thought once he changed it we looked the better side and could have got the goal. Shame his apparent stubbornness has cost us the chance of a final. Sterling stretched them and Nacho allowed Sergio to drop deeper and get away from Pepe. It was plain to see DeBryune should have been in the number 10 hole not Yaya. Pellegrini is so inflexible and his attention to the small details is poor - thanks for the title and Carling cup but off you pop to bed with a cup of cocoa.

Looked the better side? Wow.

I thought it was boys against men for 94 minutes. They defended better than we did, controlled the midfield, kept the ball far better and were dangerous in attack. They had more energy, were more organised, hunted in packs, closed down better. I thought we were comprehensively outplayed from beginning to end.

Replay that game 10 times and we'd lose all 10 playing like we did.

I've got more energy than we showed last night and I've been up for nearly three days on a bender.
 
I can't wait to hear the end of all this charming man nonsense, it's a complete myth and up there with his 'attacking football' myth.

He's a stubborn old bastard, as stubborn as Mancini if not more (at least Mancini tried to adopt a new gameplan and formation), he's just completely passive whereas Mancini obviously was an aggressive type.

Sure he's posed for a few photos but he genuinely doesn't give a fuck about the fans, just like the clowns Txiki and Soriano. He treats us with utter disdain, anyone getting teary-eyed over his departure is a fool.

Cheer him off? Thank him for what he's done? Count me right out.

The more I think about last night the more cheated I feel as a supporter. To completely focus on CL and pay absolutely no respect to the other comps was wrong imho. Then again maybe he knew this was his, and this group of players last chance for CL. They didn't perform like it though. These last 2 games can't be over quick enough for me.
 
Just seen his press conference and he is saying we were unlucky and didn't deserve to lose, wow, he really is deluded isn't he.

It's like when a boxer goes in to someone else's back yard trying to win a title. It's not about not deserving to lose, you have to do enough to win. We certainly didn't deserve to win.
