Perhaps Stuart Brennan could do a freedom of Information request to see how many cancellations they have had. It's a good story and we know UEFA are not happy with BT's figures.

I believe FOIs can only be used in relation to public sector organisations.

I hope other Blues follow suit and tell BT where to go.

you are correct BT is a private company and the FOI has no effect on them

I hope fans of other clubs also pick up on this and also cancel their bt subscriptions and leave BT with their chosen fans ie dippers and rags
 
I rang yesterday to cancel. Due to a large number of calls to BT Sport I got put through to the team dealing with the overflow. I was asked why do you to cancel to which I answered your coverage is a disgrace and I'm not paying you another penny whilst you continually slag my team off and put jokers like Ferdinand and Owen on. I got a Scottish girl who tried telling me that as a Rangers fan she wouldn't mind it if Rangers games were covered by Celtic players. At that point I lost it a little and said are you taking the piss?!?! She offered me BT Sport free if I moved to BT for landline and broadband to which I said I don't want to watch your coverage full stop, I've just said your product is shite so why do I want to transfer anything to you (I'm with EE to which she said well we've just taken them over so it's just the same, so I will cancel EE as well). "But you'll miss the games when they are on" not the home ones love I live 10 mins from the stadium and I'm a ST holder. "What about the away ones" - if I'm not there I'll go pub. 15 mins of arguing I just said cancel my subscription because within 30 days (the notice required) I will cancel the DD. Fuckwits!
 
cancelled mine a couple of months ago , when zip mouth and mcpointy started their hate campaign against my club , got the usual" we will give you 6 months free" bullshit , but told them straight until they get some decent pundits and sports programme editors without an agenda , teye will never get another bean from me . Also said if they didnt have the obscene monopoly on land lines , i would rip that out too , when i called her a stupid scottish bitch , i realised i had gone too far , my hate for the rags and dippers unfortunately got the better of me.
 
My father and i laugh about the difference from City v Real to Liverpool v whoever it is that bad/obvious.
I think their policy of hiring ex utd and Liverpool players as pundits has slightly back fired, very much so with pointy.

I have their biss keys (sat feed security) anyway so screw em.
 
I hope we can carry this out in the same way the scousers boycotted the sun.
BT clearly thought it was a clever marketing ploy to attract utd fans and perpetuate myths and half truths.
The customer is king though and so is the ex customer.
It's their own fault.
 
It's not so much the coverage that's the problem,it's knowing they have pundits who are only to glad to get digs in or mock the club,would Utd or Liverpool for instance expect ex city players on their games as pundits,the fa cup omission,the champions league flyer only add fuel to the fire.Some people might think get over yourselves acting like spoilt children cause they say bad things about your club.But it's the perception it portrays to neutral fans of what they claim is correct,an example the emptyhad cliaming we have masses of empty seats at games which we no to be bollocks but the more they peddle it,it then sticks and is taken as gospel,it's all negative in regards publicity which actually does seem to have an effect regards how we are portrayed..
