The problem for me is that it's two 40m CB's and not 1. I'm under the assumption that we can have 1 CB + 1 pogba/kroos/dybala but 2 CB's takes that off the table. If the two aren't related at all then I have nothing at all to complain about.
I have no issues with Gundogan/Laporte/Stones/Sane at all and can't wait for them to sign if and when they do. I trust pep completely.
Too many people on here want the Harlem Globe Trotters and a load of shiny new toys. Rags made that mistake signing the likes of Di Maria and Falcao. I remember the Rags holding a sign up with the message "Thank-you Galacticos" at the start of 2014/5 season, but it went nowhere. You can't sign worldly players (or players being touted as such) just for the sake of it or to appease the masses. .. Well you can, but it won't necessarily work.
Yes we could probably get Pogba but its an awful lot of money, probably too much.
Kroos probably just doesn't want to leave Madrid and Dybala...good luck getting him from Juve's kung fu grip.
I'm sure we're doing everything we can to please Pep and If he wants 2 CB's then just go with it, I am sure he knows what he is doing.
I don't think it's too much money at all. You also have to factor in that it blocks him from playing against us and not Chelsea or the rags.
Yea, I do trust pep. Doesn't mean I can't pout for missing out on my man :)
Way too much money for someone who has done very little in the game, I don't reckon we will see him at either of them clubs atleast not next season.
Personally I would be more worried if it was Dybala.
We'd have walked the league last season with the same squad and Pep in charge. Yes, we need to bring in new players, but it doesn't need a total rebuild and not every player needs to be someone your mum/FIFA16 has heard of.
I'm more concerned that none of the rumours have mentioned a left back
How so? Would he have prevented the injuries we sustained, Told players to miss sitters etc.
All speculation my friend and tbh, water now well and truly under the bridge

The anti speculation task force is here now your in for it
95% of what we discusss is speculative. How so? Would he have prevented the injuries we sustained, Told players to miss sitters etc.

I have broad shoulders :)

I'm not saying Pellers couldn't have done better, but to claim something that cannot be proven as being :fact: is nebulous95% of what we discusss is speculative.
If we accept that Pellegrini had no part or a minimal part in the injury record, that does not mean he managed the remaining squad effectively.
For example: the selection of Demichelis when we had injuries over Sagna, and the on-going selection of Toure when he was clearly struggling
Pervi`ve always liked women with broad shoulders
8-)
Here what you say, but ultimately we are a business and imo will not go stupid by paying what it takesWhen you sign Pep Guardiola as manager you are saying you will give him unlimited resources And you go all in no matter what a player costs. The only thing stopping us should be a players unwilliness to join us and that's it !
I believe we have a blank cheque ! He wouldn't come here if he didn't have carte Blanche
