Some of the Brexiters remind me of the Muslim Brotherhood being voted into power in Egypt and then imposing a dictatorship!

"The EU referendum could face a legal challenge after the deadline for voter registration was extended.

Arron Banks, funder of the Leave.EU campaign, is considering launching a judicial review.

Mr Banks said changing the law during a campaign was unprecedented, unconstitutional and potentially grounds for a legal challenge."

Project Fear in full swing again - John Major and Tony Blair have gone to Northern Ireland to tell them that an 'out' vote could result in return to the troubles. Apparently though the main party in NI is in the out camp

Andrew Neil gave George a solid grilling and exposed a couple of lies, one being households will lose out on circa £4k per annum and the other lie about Turkey will not join the EU. Despite this George held his own and didn’t crumble. Farage will get the same treatment on Friday and will be probably worse off.

The government is already providing £1bn to speed up the process for Turkey joining the EU, staffys have admitted this and it’s painted all over a government web page. I’m swayed towards remain due to a couple of principles but I genuinely don’t trust Cameron and Osborne with their motives and the scaremongering has been ridiculous. The remain campaign could have tackled this referendum from a different angle, highlighting the positives of the EU but instead has continued with scaremongering and lies, it’s no wonder the leave campaign is gathering more momentum. A couple of friends of mine who were in the remain camp have moved to the leave camp purely down to the scaremongering and discredited claims made by the remain campaign.

Nonsense. Turkey will not join the EU in the foreseeable future. 10 years ago it was looking like it could, now its a million miles away.

You don't know who they are, yet you are prepared to vote for them....?

When I go into hospital for surgery I don't know who the surgeon is.

When I get on an airplane I don't know who the pilot is.

I do however have a pretty good idea they know more than you about flying planes and repairing internal organs of the body.

Just like Cameron wasn't going to be the 2bn Euro bill and ended up paying in full?

It can only help the "ins" that Conservative MP's have started to change sides from "leave" to "remain".....(as reported in the news last night/this morning) They clearly must see holes in the outs argument.....hope it continues!;)

Sarah Wollaston has fled from the leave camp in to the remain which was a bizarre move given her strong thoughts on the EU previously. I personally think Cameron may have had a little word in her ear asking her to take one for the team and may have dangled a ministerial role in front of her.

doubt it, a word in the wrong ear and 'Dav Cam bribes....' is all over the press

plus the fact that she is a regular dissenter, she is nowhere near a ministerial position, just principled I'm afraid, too many lies for her to stomach

You concern for me is overwhelming but please don't worry about me, save your worry for the huge mistake you and all the other inners are about to make.

I don't trust those guys, none of them - that does not translate to bitterness. Anger, yes, Bitterness no!

Yes, because life is really terrible right now isn't it. What a calamity it will be if we carry on like this??!?!

Low unemployment, more vacancies than unemployed, low inflation, low interest rates, growth, deficit coming down. Terrible, just terrible.

EDIT: And once we get this bloody annoying referendum out of the way, just you watch business and the economy take off. You can bookmark this.

We've had nearly 2 years now with businesses driving with the brakes on because of the uncertainty surrounding the referendum and once it's out of the way, the economy will start to really motor.

Cameron was posturing and the UK Government had already agreed to pay what we owed. They migh not have expected a single invoice but it was all smoke and mirrors!

On one side we have the smarminess of West Ham Dave, and the smug arrogance of the littlest baronet, George, nee Gideon. They seem hellbent on misrepsresenting anything that can be misrepresented.

On the other side we have the lunatic chancer Johnson, the plain lunatic Farage, and the messianic (although surprisingly reasonable Justice secretary) Gove. They also seem hellbent on misrepsresenting anything that can be misrepresented, except for Johnson of course, who just randomly makes things up (bananas, armed force control, etc.).

I wouldn't trust anything any of them said.

I heard a comment last night which I thought was a good point - the decision shouldn't be viewed just as "what do we want in 2016" but it's very important to consider "what do we want in 15-20 years time".

I agree....just from the little I do know, she doesnt seem to be a "yes" person....and is happy to protest against something if she genuinely doesnt believe in it.....this will be seen as a genuine hit to the "leaves"....and speaks more than a thousand words could ever in my opinion!

Always a nice surprise when an MP demonstrates principles.
I look forward to Leave's attacks on her today.

You write some tosh!

For Turkey to even be considered for membership they must have sorted out their disgusting human rights, agreed the Armenian genocide happened, give up all claims to Cyprus and return it to Greece. They will not meet those conditions in your lifetime.
But
Even if they did France has committed to a referendum on Turkey's membership and do what the French people tell them. The French will never vote to allow Turkey in. Greece will never vote to allow Turkey in either.
