Kelechi Iheanacho

In what sense though? What's he naturally better at? More tricks? His pure talent as a striker has only ever amounted to one season where he has bettered Nacho's goal or assist tally in his first season as a professional player.

More natural skill and better touch. Sturridge is a great finisher but I also think Nacho is very good in front of goal and is definitely a natural goal scorer. Hopefully Nacho won't be cursed by injuries like Sturridge has been and will also have a better attitude. I'm just saying Sturridge had and has the most talent but I also think he's got more God gifted talent than any striker in the league other than Aguero so I'm not slagging Nacho by any means.

Not as good as that lad at Yoonit'd though.......and he's not fucking English either.

sturridge is 26, nacho is 19 which gives him 7 years to pass sturridge and he`s not passed him now.

honest answer, who would you have, sturridge who struggles to stay fit or nacho. i know who i`d have

Not the best opponents or superb goals, but Iheanacho a class above almost everyone else. Also denied another goal by a superb GK save and set up a few other opportunities.

it didnt look anything like ian who set up that last goal

Got to admit when I watched it I thought the same but I think the video is just slightly squashed.

9:54 on the vid below, definitely looks like him. He sets up Ighalo for the goal.

Also for those wanting to see his strike that forced a great save, 6:20 on the vid above.

Traversing this thread fills my mind up with some serious questions.." What would happen to Kelechi if we sign some already established striker, say Griezmann or Auba ? Will that stunt his growth? Where would he fit in Pep's tactics? "

One of the most naturally gifted finishers I've had a the pleasure of seeing at City other than the Goat and Sergio, His movement is fucking superb. Give it 3 years and he will be outscoring everyone in Europe.

Meant to post this yesterday but been busy. Was watching Sky Sports News yesterday morning whilst eating my brekkie & was watching the revolving banner at the bottom of the screen with all the latest sports news, It mentioned all the international friendly results from the previous day including Nigeria's 3-1 win in which Iheanacho scored. It then went on to mention all the players linked with Premiership teams who scored in those games. Take a wild guess as to whose name wasn't mentioned.

Prior to that I'd been in the kitchen preparing my brekkie with the sound turned up in the TV Room so I could still hear the news & for something like 15 minutes all I could hear every few seconds was Rashford this, Rashford that. Later on they even had some reporter interviewing Pele about Rashford.

Iheanacho’s Contract Renewal Saga with Man City Deepens

The bitter row between two agencies representing Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho is expected to drag on till September, following a sharp disagreement between the parties laying claim to the interest of the Super Eagles forward.

According to Africanfootball.com, the hearing of the case before the England FA was slated for May 9, but up till now what has happened have being arguments and defences by the agencies involved – Stellar Group who are based in the United Kingdom and First Eleven from the USA.

“The longer this case drags the better it is for Manchester City and bad for the player,” one of the interested parties told AfricanFootball.com

Recently, First Eleven tabled a new Manchester City that will pay the Nigeria youngster 50,000 pounds a week, but it was later learnt the other agents told the player they could clinch him a much better deal.
First Eleven are arguing that Iheanacho breached his subsisting contract with them by agreeing to work with Stellar Group.

In a related development and what seems to be a season of failed contract agreement for Nigerian young stars, as Abia Warriors chairman Emeka Inyama has disclosed that the Nigeria league club have cancelled an agreement they signed with Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca for striker Chisom Chikatara.

Earlier this year, Chikatara agreed to join Wydad on a three-year contract that would have paid Abia Warriors $500,000 with the player netting a salary of $250,000 a year.

Wydad had also agreed to be paying the striker salary immediately the agreement was signed, but they failed to do so.
However, Inyama first hinted AfricanFootball.com last week that the deal was heading for the rocks as the Moroccans were yet to pay the club and player any dime.

“The deal with Wydad is cancelled,” Inyama told AfricanFootball.com
The decision of Abia Warriors comes at a time when the chairman said there has been renewed interest in the striker who shone at the last CHAN in Rwanda.

“There is a renewal of interest in the player as we have received offers from all over Europe for him now – Austria, Germany, among other countries,” he informed.

“We will study these offers before we decide on the boy’s future.”

What's all this bullocks about then?

Made up shit I hope!!
