Worth every pennyDefinitely up for grabs if Madrid secure Pogba.
Probably £50m though.

nah i think both kroos and Gundogan can exist together. Gundogan will be our xavi and kroos will be busquets.I know Gundogan has signed so we're bored of him already, but the man is the definition of midfield control. His vision and ability on the ball are every bit as good as Kroos IMO. Not saying we shouldn't get Kroos in there as well but we've already easily replaced the brain part of Yaya and then some as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe they thought he was not attainable but the situation is changing?
Pep is a big admirer, that is common knowledge so I find it hard to imagine that he would not want him. £50m would not be unreasonable: as I keep saying, probably the best passer of a ball around; now that Xavi is on his last legs...

If we wanted to control the ball then Silva making up the 3 would be ideal, on the other hand if it was that drive and getting into the box or getting goals the way Muller does for Bayern then it would need to be DeBruyne making up the midfield 3. Either way works for me.With Kroos and Gundogan we could pass teams to death but we may lose a bit of the drive that Yaya at his best gave us. I could see some of our supporters getting very impatient in some matches as we would own the ball.
I agree. As good as Silva is he's not the best at getting around or through a defense himself. Drop him deeper and let the ball do the work :-)He hits that diagonal ball to both wings better than anyone else in the world, although he seems have become more restrained at Madrid, as he was a beast for picking up the bits on the edge of the area and scoring a few?
I do think if we drop Silva a little deeper and make him the third with Kroos and Gondogan, magic could happen, although Silva will have to run like never before.
I'd say they both are on their own level. Toni Kroos's avg passes are the largest in length as compared to any other midfielder . He's very accurate with really-really long diagonal balls.Sorry but Iniesta is easily the best passer of the ball in World football

Who'll be the leg-breaker? Nando maybe? The rumor that Kroos can play a Busquets role needs to die, he's awful defensively and is always horribly exposed.
If we're making Barca comparisons then Gundogan will be our Iniesta while Kroos will be our Xavi, maybe Fernandinho can be our Busquets but Kroos simply can't.
Interesting. Thanks.Think it stems from Tolmie posting this:
