The next Prime Minister of Britain

Pmsl.

Osborne along with Cameron have committed political suicide over this issue and needlessly so imo.

I think he's redeemed himself this morning with his speech and his hint that he'll announce his future in the next few days, and his commitment to continuing his work says a lot, unlike Cameron who I am totally disappointed in. Seems he's not both up for some hard work or democratic after all.

His fellow Tory MP's will not touch him with a barge pole trust me after this.

Straight shootout between May and Boris.

Cameron has left the poison chalice of activating Article 50 to his successor, meaning that they will be left with a massive decision, plunge the country into turmoil for the next 10 years, or use some common sense, and put it back out for a 2nd referendum, making the people decide, and actually give it some thought, not falling for the out right lies, falsehoods and immigrant blaming this time.

Making the people decide?

We just have!

Allegedly Osborne is just waiting to see which of Johnson or May will guarantee him the Foreign Secretary's job in return for his support.

Decide without being blatantly lied to!!!! ( £350million daily to the NHS, immigrants to blame etc...) I think you will find that many people based their decisions based on lies told by the Brexit camp, now they realise the ramifications of voting out, they might think otherwise.
The Brexit camp have no plan to safeguard Britain's economy, Boris is rapidly backtracking on leaving the EU!
Who do you think will take the brunt of the Brexit? the North, as usual, the south/London will be somewhat insulated from the effects because that's where the money/ big business live, who voted for Brexit? talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

"Lets give the nhs 350m"

Isn't a promise or "We will give the nhs 350m"

It was blatant to win votes by the naive, what gets me most people now a days a usually wise to politicians lies.

Bringing back control and decision making back to England should of been the main point of leaving the EU.

The first casualty of Brexit will without doubt be the Northern Powerhouse. A lot of people on this forum hate George Osborne but fail to appreciate that only recently he dragged the leader of China up to some godforsaken former mill town with a view to attracting investment into the place. I'm sure if you asked Boris or Theresa what their view of "the North" was they'd say that's the SNP's problem. We won't fully Brexit at all we'll just lose all our influence within the EU. Rather, if we use a US analogy, we'll cease being New York State or Illinois and become "The Free Commonwealth" of Puerto Rico.

so the remain camp didn't lie then ? a lot of people voted remain because of the scare stories from remain.

What happens if you lose again?

You need to get over it. It's done. I voted remain and am pissed off about it but we've got to make the best of it and make it work.

There's probably as many people who would have voted leave that voted remain because of scare stories as people that voted leave due to false promises.

Another arrogant so and so who thinks he knows what is best for me, my family and nearly 70 Million other UK citizens.

I have spent most of my adult life interested in politics and my decision to vote leave last week was based on over 28 years experience and not some poster or a campaign lasting a few months.

Please leave the lectures out.

Again.....the people have decided and that decision is to leave.

I voted Remain but Leave won so I agree with you we should leave, regardless of any consequences, good or bad.

The issue is only Nigel Farage appears to have the balls to actually want to leave.

A partial exit appears to be on the cards. Nobody voted for that and it's the worst possible outcome.

I'm not asking you to change your mind, just stating a fact that Farage and Boris made the £350 million a day a big part of their campaign, then immediately backtracked on it the day after the vote.
I'm 47 and sat through my fare share of elections, and these two are the biggest pair of Charlatans I've ever come across!
Do you seriously think Boris is interested in anything other than his own career? in 1986 he became president of the Oxford Union. after losing as a Tory, he won on his second attempt by pretending he opposed the policies he had previously endorsed, if this doesn't set the alarm bells ringing, then nothing will......
I'm entitled to an informed opinion, if you don't like it, don't respond.
Just because you don't agree with me, doesn't mean I don't have the right to a dissenting opinion, one that I will continue having, with or without your approval.
