Racist incidents on the rise?

I was talking about he far left, not the left in general. Look at the Socialist Worker website and you'll see how anti-EU it is. Check the Communist party website as well.
I view the momentum group as far left and they backed remain. Think the left/far left generally we're as split as the country. The right/far right however we're not. Just my opinion though.

No mate you need to read it again. You've simply allowed the rest of the forum users to see how you've mischaracterised my post twice. I won't be spelling out to you why as I'm sure your aware of what you're doing.
I'm aware that you're trying to imply that 17 million people should have realised that they'd be considered racist if they voted Leave whether they are or not. I don't agree with that even though my vote was for Remain.

Rather than blame UKIP for the rise of racial tensions lets get the tail pinned on the right donkey shall we.

It was the Labour party who opened the flood gates to over 3.5 million immigrants in a relatively short period, it was this party that shouted down even the most mildly worded concerns of what this was leading to, and its traditional heartland that bore the brunt of the consequences with longer housing lists/shortage of school places (And their children s education suffers with overcrowded classes while only able to move at the pace of children who can not speak English ).

UKIP was only the result of a labour policy who`s sole aim was to ensure future voters after the abandonment of the working class as they chased the vote of "Mondeo man".

You don't have to agree with it. It's pretty apparent from the reactions since the results were announced. People voting to leave have aligned themselves with the most right wing and racist politicians and political parties not just in Britain, but across Europe. That's going to lead to accusations of racism. My original post which you so staggeringly mischaracterised stated quite clearly "IF" i'd voted to leave I'd have been intelligent enough to understand why i'd been accused of at worst being a racist and at best, condoning racism. Either way nobody who voted "out" gets a free pass in my eyes. Some of them are my friends, but they have to live with the choice they made.

I haven't staggeringly mischaraterised anything. It seems you can't follow your own logic that a leave vote makes you look racist, and it makes you look racist because you align yourself with Farage, hence the implication is don't vote leave for that reason, irrespective of the issues. That's bollocks.
I voted remain and therefore aligned myself with Cameron. Does that make me a Tory?

If I can't follow my own logic then you're obviously a much more intelligent man than I. I'll leave you to it.

Or another way to reply Would have been yes you got me there my reasoning is stupidly simplistic, but admitting you're wrong isnt a strong point for some.

well you're just as ignorant, brush tarring and bigoted as those you seek to condemn. You were pretty similar in attitude in plenty of threads over the years. Just come clean with your ignorant assertion instead of pussy footing round what you really want to say. It's the same lazy discrimination that people complain that a section of leavers use on immigration, but they don't seem the see the irony of their lazy stereotypes when they KNOW the reality is so much different.

And you think you take the grown men's approach of insinuating people are racists because they voted for something you didn't agree with for their own, non-racist reasons and some other unconnected people elsewhere voted for racist reasons. The only person aligning normal, ordinary people with racists is you. Well as you're prepared to be discriminatory to 17 million people then I really think you need to take a step back and look hard at the idiocy of your view.

Agreed. I think it's self evident that voting Leave puts those people in the company of racists and if you stand on the side of racists you are going to get smeared with it. If you don't like the characterisation then don't stand with them.

I have been asked why I voted the way I did (remain) and I just replied I don't vote Nazi. I'll be honest it upset people but fuck it. They asked I replied. Don't like it don't ask.

Well if a pole,Asian or Jamaican can live with voting out I'm pretty sure most of us will cope with these so called smears. The fact it gets a small minority of inners all upset is an added bonus. The laughs just keep coming on here following the referendum.

I don't think I'm an idiot and I'm perfectly comfortable with my point of view. If anyone is offended by it that is their problem not mine. Equally if you or anyone else thinks that my point of view is ignorant, good luck to you because I could give less of a fuck.

Yep. Pretty much.

just pointing it out to the rest of the board what you really are. The hypocrisy is evident to see.

I'm happy you felt the need to point out to the forum what I am. I'd like to point out to the forum what I think you are but - well lets just say that I'm going to show a little restraint. Have a lovely afternoon.
