I don't like Suarez either, but he's an incredible footballer. Easily above Bale. 40 goals in 35 La Liga games last year is insane.

I'd much rather Messi, but there's some serious signability concerns there.

Personally I'd rather us get Messi, win the fucking lot over the next 3/4 years and let the divs who think Peps success is down to Messi carry on having a good whinge.
 
Just a thought here ...

What would keep Messi at Barca if we can pay his transfer fee, beat his wages, give him the opportunity to work with a manager again whom he adores, give him the opportunity to play alongside his best mate and play in, arguably, the best league in the world?

Whether they are the starter or not we need a younger (but experienced) fullback on either side. If they're young enough and have the right mentality Pep can mould them into a top team CL quality fullback. Peres I haven't watched but knew of him - Mirror saying Watford going for him so don't know if we'd go in for someone Watford are?
 
Barca just got a huge sponsorship deal, think they are ok for time being. I don't think we will sign any worldies this summer. Thiago/sane might be as good as it gets.
 
What does Messi have left to prove at Barca or in Spain? He has done it all. He could want a new challenge and end his career with his best friend and favorite manager. And Barcelona might accommodate him now when his price is at its highest.
 
according to the Barcelona president in the press conference today no one else will be leaving barca so that rules any of the msn out

From what I've read and watched on he seems like the type of fullback that Pep could get a lot out of. It is kind of bizarre that PSG, Bayern, and City are linked with him and then the next day watford is suddenly in it? Weird, If we don't land it's got to be because Pep has something else in mind of him which seems odd to me. People (myself included) are thinking that denayer will get opportunities out there and I hope he does but I can't see him playing it up Peres level at this time. Interesting to see what the hell happens with our fullbacks.

I am usually with you Dax. But no. Just no. Neymar does not fit our club and I want him nowhere near it and I hope our owners share my view. I have had enough of the Mario/Yaya/Tevez type of players. In 4 years if we get Messi this summer we will be the best team in the world and will have made a fortune off of Messi's name...it doesn't matter who the better player will be in 4 years. I think anyone with a brain will agree it will be Neymar.

Don't let the few knobs ruin the fun. I have no idea who you are and have no idea if you know what you are talking about. But I don't care. This is fun. You have brought a lot of entertainment to a bunch of folks and I am 99% sure you are doing it in good faith. Please don't hold back in the future. This is how we get through the summer.

If it really is Messi, can you really not see the harm in naming names. Are you really that thick. Just leave the transfer forum if you don't like it.
