Labour / Tory Party meltdown Referendum fallout

What a load of shites both parties are, labours silly coup using a phantom election that all tory cadidates have said won't happen. Jeremy being a stubborn pain in the arse.
Gove stitching up boris while May waits in the wings, god help us.
Tories fighting, labour fighting. Even shakespeare couldn't have wrote this crap

Exactly mate

Oi, if the looneys get power of Wales they promise to give the letter "K" a sound. Also anyone who has a shadow minister for the abolition of gravity should be listened to imo!
I can't say i am totally with their promise to legalise broccoli but fully back their pledge to make bog snorkling an olympic sport.

The winner for them though is "We shall keep the Falklands and Give Jeremy Corbyn to the Argentinians." :-D

They could tell them he is Jeremy Clarkson - he's not popular down Patagonia way

So, let me get this straight... the leader of the opposition campaigned to stay but secretly wanted to leave, so his party held a non-binding vote to shame him into resigning so someone else could lead the campaign to ignore the result of the non-binding referendum which many people now think was just angry people trying to shame politicians into seeing they'd all done nothing to help them.

Meanwhile, the man who campaigned to leave because he hoped losing would help him win the leadership of his party, accidentally won and ruined any chance of leading because the man who thought he couldn't lose, did - but resigned before actually doing the thing the vote had been about. The man who'd always thought he'd lead next, campaigned so badly that everyone thought he was lying when he said the economy would crash - and he was, but it did, but he's not resigned, but, like the man who lost and the man who won, also now can't become leader. Which means the woman who quietly campaigned to stay but always said she wanted to leave is likely to become leader instead.

Which means she holds the same view as the leader of the opposition but for opposite reasons, but her party's view of this view is the opposite of the opposition's. And the opposition aren't yet opposing anything because the leader isn't listening to his party, who aren't listening to the country, who aren't listening to experts or possibly paying that much attention at all. However, none of their opponents actually want to be the one to do the thing that the vote was about, so there's not yet anything actually on the table to oppose anyway. And if no one ever does do the thing that most people asked them to do, it will be undemocratic and if any one ever does do it, it will be awful.

Clear?

Brilliant. By far the best post of the thread.

Do you mind if I "borrow" this as it's probably the most honest thing any of us has heard in a month?

Yes, Prime Minister !

It's not his own work but it's still very funny.

I can't work out why Theresa May, who is euro-sceptic but went into the Remain camp pretty halfheartedly, is seen as having played a shrewd hand during the referendum campaign and is probably about to become leader of the Tories. Whereas Jeremy Corbyn, who is euro-sceptic but went into the Remain camp pretty halfheartedly, is seen as having had an awful campaign and is probably about to lose the leadership of the Labour party.

Jeremy Corbyn is the Raheem Sterling of Westminster.

Its about perspective I suppose - and one seen as doing a job trying womanfully to do a difficult job and getting support from her colleagues whilst she is doing it. Its been seen as something of a poisoned chalice by the rest - not a job they would do themselves so they are happy enough for her to be the one who takes the flak and they support her because she is one of them

The other is a guy who's colleagues see as an outsider and have spent 9 months trying to get him to leave and virtually sending him to Coventry. When they haven't got their way they have had a proper strop and started poking dog turds through his letter box. He's got a tough job to do too but his problem is everybody else wants it off him.

Oh dear apparently being reported a labour blairite communications officer bought the domain name angelaforleader.com 2 days before she resigned and the coup started, and the site was set up. So much for the tears and '"I never planned to resign till today" bollocks she spouted on the day.

They are all a bunch of halfwits.

More like they're all a bunch of self serving, two faced cunts.

Family man shouldnt be punditing this Euro game, he should throw his hat into the ring, self serving - check, two faced **** - check, experience in Europe - check, turned his back on his country when it didnt suit his personnel agenda - check and a completely punchable face - check.

That didn't happen as nobody has registered that domain
