Probably need someone like Suarez to challenge for the CL as we look a million miles of it at the moment. Although we did have a clown in charge last season.
 
Just to clarify this is Luis Suarez, who hates the English media, who's wife hates England (from what I've read?), who just a few months back came out & said he wouldn't want to leave Barca, and if he was forced out then he would only return to the PL to play for Liverpool and would never play for another PL team?

Can see us being interested, can see us putting a bid in, struggle to see Barca accepting a bid (but potential if financial issues arise for them), but just can't see him wanting to come here.

So far we've evidently shown interest in Neymar, Messi, Suarez, Pogba, Kroos etc. - seems (naturally) we're interested in the best players in the world if they become available, but we're very unlikely to achieve the signing of any of them; a stance I imagine is similar to 3-4 other clubs (PSG, United, Real).

Gundogan, Nolito, Stones, Sane & 1-2 fullbacks seems a more reasonable level of expectation, but more than happy to be surprised by what we bring in if anything more happens.
 
I'd be very surprised if we were able to prise Suarez. Can't see it happening myself, but wouldn't complain if I was wrong, dislikeable as he is.

I'm sure we're interested, as we are with any top player. Not heard anything to suggest we're likely to get him though, but as mentioned wouldn't complain if we did. I only hear bits though, so who knows?
 
Everything he's said or done in the past would make this seem more than unlikely for me.

Of all the links to whichever players we are, this would genuinely surprise me.

I'm not suggesting we aren't interested, I'm certain we are, but I can't see it unless he's forced into it.
 
If City would have signed either Terry or Rooney when they were rumoured, I don't think I could have dealt with that. Suarez doesn't disgust me like those two.

No body is disputing his talent. The issue is the gulf between the player and the person and that is what's dividing people. Don't see anything wrong in having beliefs
