Gabriel Jesus is # 1 unanimously right now in South America. He wants to finish the job of bringing the league home so we won't be hearing anything about him signing anywhere till the January window. Early signs is he wants to follow his idol Ronaldo's path to Inter Milan.

Marlos would be in my top 5 talents in South America with Gabriel Jesus,Gabigol,Marlos, Giovani LO Celso(Angel Di Maria personally got him the move to PSG this summer) and Luan from Grêmio.

Marlos has taken South America by storm(they literally called him a tornado with Ferrari speed lol) this tournament and Atletico Nacional should be favorite to win unless Tevez and Boca overturn their semi final loss.

Last week versus São Paulo when everybody was thinkin Nacional were going to kill the game off towards the end, he's still running around the box and already knew he was going to backheel assist the 2nd goal. His creativity to get in better positions is incredible.

Yup, Brazil and Argentina mostly but between Copa America and Copa Libertadores this kid made me pay attention to him and Atletico Nacional in general. They are a factory with other players making moves to clubs like Ajax and Sevilla this summer.

I think the official word will happen mostly like after the final but if they happen to lose their 2 away goal advantage in the 2nd leg the deal will be announced sooner but I doubt it since they rarely lose at home. So pencil in between the 13th - 27th

Thanks for the info. Seems like a top talent this guy. The number of passes to the goal was really great. He seems to know which positions to take and for his age, he seems like a very mature player. Hopefully he can become one of our superstars in the future.
 
Doubt this will be a loan to a Spanish/Portuguese team.
Plays for the Columbian 1st team (7 appearances) who are ranked 3rd in the world.
Wont arrive till his team Atlético Nacional is out of the Copa Libertadores (and that could be the final on the 27th July)

I hope he will prove to be a good one if he indeed signs. Though from those YT vids you sense that even Sterling would probably tear a new one to any of those defences.

Marlos is more creative and knows how to get himself out of tight spaces on the wing. Plus he naturally drifts into the right space to link a pass.
 
Glad to hear the coach confirm the news. It's been reported by every Colombian out let it seems like. They just wanted to try and hold on to the info until after Wednesday and the 2nd leg of the semi final. Anyone watching?
 
I am glad we are scouting SA, there are many gems. And only way to get next Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Neymar etc is to buy them young before they are noticed by Barca/Madrid. Once they are established stars and if those clubs are really interested everyone else can stop bidding.

By the way, it also says something about how big talent is Iheanacho as well. He is younger than Marlos and has scored more goals in tougher league. So he has already showed that he can actually play well in PL and not flop.

Ha. If the M.E.N. are reporting it as a few weeks, chances are he will have signed by this time tomorrow. They know absolutely nothing about what goes on at City these days.
