Navas on his way ?

Sterling and sane can play as natural wingers I think, as for navas he can't cross or shoot for shit, we could pluck a random winger from the eds and he could offer what navas offers.

And Sterling can?

Your last bit is tedious. As for not being s
able to shoot for shit, Sterling gave a masterclass last season didn,t he

Sterling scored more goals in his first season here than Navas has in 3 years. His finishing needs a lot of work but at least he knows where the net is unlike Navas who shits himself every time he sees it. We can applaude him running around a lot all we want but he plays in an attacking position and frankly we need a player who can score more goals.

My argument was not goals scored but questioning why Sterling is given a reprieve when he cannot shoot for sg
hit, but Jesus should be shown the door for being equally as poor in that department.

Except I just showed you that Sterling can shoot for shit as he scored more goals in a single season than Navas has in 3 full seasons. That is why he doesn't get a reprieve because an attacking winger has managed 8 fucking goals in 100 games for City.

other than his goals, what else has he offered over and above what Jesus has for the team? Not looking to diss Sterling, but think Jesus should get the recognition he rightly deserves

I'd like Navas to stay as a squad player for what it's worth as I think his energy and work rate still has a role to play but equally I would not cry my eyes out if we did decided to sell a 30 year old player who couldn't score at an all female prison with a handfull of pardons.

Fair dos, but would have liked you to answer the question posesd

I would seriously get his eyes tested before offloading him. His final ball and shooting were not as bad when he first arrived. Spurs at home 6-0 he was immense.
The deterioration of his crossing and shooting when every other part of his game has improved is unbelievable.
I'm sure they must do regular eye tests though

Both track back exceptionally, both have very good attitude. Navas' touch and ball retention is better, Sterling has better control.

I think Both will and should stay in the squad.

No, I hope to god that he doesn't leave. We all know that he can be a frustrating player to watch but his workrate can never be understated. We need players that give 100% everytime they are on the pitch and, truth is, the likes of Bony, Yaya, Kolarov and Nasri do not. There are players that should be shifted way before Navas.
