I think you have to get a keeper. It''s too important of a position to have only Joe and Willy. Much more than I thought. I would love to know the debate Pep is having in his head about Joe. He believes you need to have the core of your team from that nationality. He called for Sterling and Stones. He's busting his ass with delph and delph looks up to the challege. Does he have the skill and talent to warrant a big role? Questionable. How do you boot a club legend and england's number 1? I'm sure Pep's been thinking about this daily since he took the job.

Yep. If we're going into the season with Gundogan, Delph, Fernando, Yaya and Fernandinho then the same problems will arise against top teams.

Obviously he's after a wage rise and his agent is doing what many of them do and 'linking' them with City. The reason we don't sign most of our 'targets' is that they aren't, and haven't been, targets.

His interplay, decisive passing and finishing all benefit more from being in the middle. He's much better feeding a striker than an overlapping fullback. His crossing is fantastic but our strikers are short arses, it's just not the way we'll play to be firing cross after cross into the box, and he'll still be on freekick and corner duty. His pressing isn't a huge strength either.

He's not a bad player wherever you put him in an attacking sense, but play him behind the striker and he's a good shout for player of the season in my book.

Afraid not mate... Excess part out there

He needs to play the number 10, where feasibly he could become one of Europe best.
He's more effective through the middle as it allows him to be interchangable, he can drift and drag, where as a fixed position allows him to be marked out of games. He can do a job there, no doubt, but he isn't world class from that spot, he is in the hole.. It's time silva took the back seat, if he responds to it then great, if not, well.......
