They had the artist impressions of the new Spurs ground on here a while ago, looked absolutely stunning if that's what they are sticking with.
Yep.

When you see both those grounds and compare that to how ours looks from the outside I'm sure we must be planning at some point to do up the outside. Really hope it's NS development and then the outside skin sorted.Yep.

The problem with Maine Road is that while the new Kippax stand was massive it was next to useless and held very few people. It destroyed any chance of a sensible redevelopment of the stadium.Great photos, no matter what West Ham do that doesn't like a footy stadium, as for Anfield read Main Road, one huge modern stand rest a shambles. Looks light Spus will have a significant reduced capacity this season, but if the c g images are correct looks like being a top stadium once built.
Yep.

Obviously a LFC fan in the architects office, surprised it got released like that. Are they losing 5-0 to the bin dippers?
Could you imagine the outrage on here if that was us? haha!Obviously a LFC fan in the architects office, surprised it got released like that.
Especially since they left and it was turned into allotments ;o)Even Highbury's not all that great in real life.

Love this thread (but recognise that I am very dull to get so excited by construction)
There's some barmy comments on this thread. West Ham aren't moving anywhere. Have you got any idea how much it would cost to build a brand new stadium that size, or even half that size in London?! Not to mention the infrastructure to go with it. They've left the seats predominantly white because there's almost 70,000 of them to replace. Not sure how much a seat costs but if they're twenty quid each, that's nearly £1.5M just to change the colour!
It's only theirs for 25 days of the year. Compare that to us where it's ours 365 they're paying a substantial premiumIt"s on the interweb, but it cost in the region of £270mill to convert the stadium from an Olympic stadium to a football stadium. And West Ham are paying £2.5mill each year to rent it.
It's safe to say West Ham haven't been ripped off, unlike the tax payer.

the reports seem to suggest they`ll fill it, i call bullshit, unless of course for the teams fighting for the top 3 bring 15,000 fans with them.
the first home game will probably attract a bigger crowd because of the novelty factor
