Didn't see him in the brief training video today. Wonder if he's deemed further behind in his fitness coming off the extended holiday. Would have thought CityTV would make it a point to show him in a training session.

Maybe shortly after signing for us, there was no time for him to be included in the training video. Just a thought.

(Only) just read the Lothar matthaus quotes. Wow what a sad bitter little nob. Hope sané rams those words down his throat

Of course, old Lothar would have made exactly the same comments should he have chosen to move to Bayern rather than us.

Good lad!!;)....Sorry if already posted but Goal reported today that Sane had put in a official transfer request, to get it done...

Schalke had to sell Sane - Heidel

Sporting director Christian Heidel has claimed Schalke had no other option but to sell Leroy Sane to Manchester City after the Germany international filed a transfer request.

As much as the British press would like people to think that pep doesn't fancy raheem, the early signs are very promising and I'm confident that sterling will prosper under him
As we've seen already if Pep doesn't fancy then you are sent to Coventry as has happened Nasri, Mangala and Bony. I think he sees something in Sterling hence why he has been given so much game timwe

Sterling will have more competition, which could work either way. On the other hand, he should be under less intense scrutiny and the dipper-inspired mob will hopefully have found a new whipping boy.

My guess is he will feel happier, and be an integral squad member, without being an automatic pick.

Any updates on his injury?
I am sure thousands of City supporters would like to know that.

The most popular topics on here used to be the fans training ground reports. We have occasional videos on mancity.com of training, and from that you can get an idea, bit it would be good to have a regular feature on the web-site about injured players. Do a regular feature on it. Have a video of players doing rehab, interviews etc. I am sure the players would not mind. If they did then a regular written update from Physio etc. Would be easy to do.

KDB and Sterling are two players Pep asked for/agreed on. Pep going to City was agreed before August 2015. Sterling and KDB will play big roles this season but will also be rested/rotated at times.

Bit concerned we haven't seen anything of Sane.

Theres a photo gallery and article today on Stones in his first session but we have seen nothing of Sane.

He has a hamstring issue and is a doubt for even Steaua, via James Ducker.

I don't actually mind it that much. If he can have the same impact as Sterling had last season (who, contrary to the popular belief, was very good in the first half of the season), I'd be happy. I'm awaiting more consistent performances from Gundogan, Stones and Nolito as they came as already established players.
