It is but so is our homegrown so it makes no difference whether we buy Stones or a foreign player we need to get rid of 4 or 5. If we are buying Stones its because we think he is the best available to us. I think we are right.

Still get 4 good years out of him....Him next to Stones might just be the best CB pairing in world football....worth every penny! Too many questions over Kompany to count of him any more than just a part time role this season and Bonucci is 1 year younger....

Tbh, we're not exactly shrewd negotiators. Spent 2 months trying to lower the Stones fee only to give them what they wanted in the first place. Same with Sane, KDB, Mangala, etc.
