Where the fuck do we play a striker after all that we have signed ! You can't bench Aguero can you? We already have Silva, KDB, Sane, Navas, Nolito and Sterling for 3 positions behind him. I reckon atleast 4 out of those deserve to be in the first XI on a regular basis. There is literally 0 need for a striker considering we haev signed Sane, Nolito in the same window which means we are playing 2 wingers behind Aguero and KDB in as well. Add to that we spent 25 mill on Jesus who is amazing and is a striker. What do we do with him in January? We havn't bought him for 25 mill to loan him out once he comes a City player.
Dude, it's tiring explaining this obvious reality to many. They have their mind made up already. Even with an injury to Aguero, we have Iheanacho his backup, then Sterling, then Sane, then Nolito, then DeBryune. All of whom can lead the line. Then in January Jesus. That's 6 players who are legitimate striker capable.

Folks don't seem to understand that there is no player out there, who is both good enough to cover an Aguero injury, yet Happy to sit on the bench. That player simply doesn't exist. Frankly there are about 6 guys who can cover Aguero without a drop off in world football.

It's not very sensible to tell everyone we paid 50 mil for Stones when we all know we haven't.

Then claim similar things about other transfers, whilst ignoring others completely. It gives the impression you are trying to piss people off deliberately, rather than make a valid point.
If people get pissed off by a comment like that then maybe the internet isn't a place for them to visit.

It was widely reported that Everton wanted £50 million for Stones, we got him for £47.5 million rising to £50 million. In regards to Moreno and Zinchenko, they're both young players playing in fairly unknown leagues, the fees will be low for them. Gundogan also had a year left and had a bad injury.

I won't complain if it rises to 50 mil by us winning he Champions League twice, will you ? In the meantime, we didn't pay what Everton wanted. Gundogan could have gone anywhere he wanted, but we got him, cheap.

We didn't pay what Everton want. Add that to the money we didn't pay Liverpool & the money we didn't pay Shalke. It's money we have, & they don't.

People are getting far too blase about millions of pounds.

Legend has it we only upped the bid for Stones because we found "a few million" down the back of the City sofa.

Christ, the club isn't perfect. Saying saying even slightly negative doesn't mean I'm a troll. Grow up.
I didn't say you were a troll. I've read many of your post, I know you are not a troll. That's why I was very specific. The comment itself was trolling. You may not have uttered it with such an intent. But here are some reasons why I considered the comment trollish.

1. None of us are privy to the negotiations info. So concluding concluding we negotiated poorly is a bit of a fallacy.

2. Even if we had the world's foremost negotiator this would not have guaranteed a lower fee. Sometimes the other side simply doesn't budge. See Pogba.

3. You are selective with your choices of our failings. And even then you were still wrong. Sane: they wanted 45, we paid 37.

4. DeBryune was expensive, but rightly so. Only an idiot would have taken less. Personally, if I was negotiating for Wolfsburg, there is no way I'm collecting any less than the Premiership transfer record. Anyone who had watched him play could easily tell he'd walk in and become a top 5 player in the league.

5. I agree on Mangala being expensive. And this was even before it turned out he wasn't going to become a great player. But I was greatly influenced by the fact that I personally didn't rate him. Others did. And had they been right, it too would have been a fair price.

6. Let's examine our other deals. But let's see how we did with Gundogan, 21, Nolito 13, Moreno 8, Zichencho 1.7. 45 million for 4 internationals.

I conclude, that at the worst, we have good negotiators, and at best likey great ones.

Shit you are so much more concise (:

And I thought there was some new information concerning Bonucci ... shoud've know better.
City are still keen on Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci (29) if Kompany breaks down before the transfer window closes. [Times]
Juventus are holding out for £50 million for Bonucci, but City are willing to pay only half of that given he will be 30 next May. [Times]

If we buy him what a summer this'll have been, I don't think we can justify buying him unless we make some good sales(ie not at giveaway prices) like Mangala, Otamendi/Denayer then have him rock up on a scooter on deadline day:

How can he break down when he's already injured? Are they expecting him to start crying if Guardiola calls him fat?
