The crowds are shocking, they have clearly priced out locals as the only people in the stadiums are traveling fans.
Ticket prices aren't the issue. The locals manage to turn up when they're in with a chance of a medal.

I never get this sort of attitude, do you think Barca fans care who is the better player out of Xavi and Iniesta? Just appreciate two of the greatest cyclists in the world and British cycling representing the county.Wiggo just proving once again that he's better than Froome. Class.
This is from the goalie who when the last Swedish girl walked up to take her penalty she walked away saying she needed new goalie gloves. Pathetic attempt to put of the Swedish girl and thankfully she scored. Sore loser and glad they lost.Wow. Now that's what i call a bad loser!

GB up to 3rd in the medal table behind USA and China. Pretty incredible achievement considering we only won a solitary gold medal in Atlanta just 20 years ago.
Wiggins is a phenomenal athlete, and you can only admire his achievements. I have a nagging doubt though, in the back of my mind, that he's probably a bit of a dick in real life. Just a hunch.
There was an interview with Chris Hoy during the build up to the team pursuit and Wiggins cut hoy off every single time, just started answering the question before Hoy had finished speaking.
It just struck me as really quite rude the way he did it 4 or 5 times - even though they seem to get on well.
So yeah, I agree I have a suspicion he's a dickhead but you probably need to have that sort of streak if you're going to be so singlemindedly dedicated to a sport for 25 years.

This GB trampoliner is still blubbing! They should direct her to the diving pool, she could fill it again this evening.
My cousins lad has represented GB at trampolining and I remember talking to his mum a couple of years ago about it. His ambition was to make the team for the Rio Olympics and he was in with a good shout. His life revolved around it and it was his only ambition. A couple of months later he picked up a serious injury and was out for most of the year, which sadly put an end to his dream.
