New official City website

far more user friendly was the old webiste, new one only good on a PC, its a nightmare on samsung phone and ipad.

the fixtures list format is terrible and a step backwards.

Login is very temperamental, why change for the sake of it, the old website was great on all devices.

Sorry but it's a fucking joke.

Tried to order items from the official store for weeks now. Same fucking error message.

Nike.com and Amazon.com here I come.

Having worked in IT for many years, I know that people always complain about new systems even when they hated the old ones. So I always like to give these things time while I get used to them.

There are still some of the same 'customer journey' issues that existed on the old one. My bugbear is having to log in three times to watch videos, buy tickets and use the Cityzens portal when I should only need to do that once. The other is that I can't see what card details I've got registered for the cup schemes. I think I've changed my details to my latest debit card on all three but there's no way of knowing without ringing up Customer Services.

I've loved the new official site from the get go. I've followed the threads a minimal amount since launch and it's been almost all negative responses from what I've seen. I'd just like to throw in some positive perspective here from my POV. It's been great for me and I love it. Cheers.

Bet their servers are still a joke when trying to book match day tickets?

Heard a rumour as well that they're thinking of fucking off ticket offices at city and making it online/phone only.... not sure how true that is though, if anyone can clarify.

Oh your gonna get it! :-)

When is the last time you saw a doctor?!? ;-)

Before I get bombarded, and thanks to @TonyM I'll point out that I've purchased items (as have friends) and that everything has run perfectly. That's just our view. Not discrediting or arguing against anything that's been posted, as I mentioned just my perspective.

Haha. Cheers mate. I mean ... I think they should fix and cater the site to the locals before they fix things internationally. I can only speak from my POV, of abroad, and from that perspective they've aced it. Just another angle. Not trying to start anything. Just saying it's great for me.

Fair play mate, think I said it earlier in the thread but there was fuck all wrong with the old one imo. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

I have no opinion of the "system", since I do not use it. Having worked in IT for 20+ years I do however have an opinion on the design and flow of information. Javascript and CSS animations are turning perfectly good sites into 1995 Flash sites. The designers and coders obviously do not know that less sometimes is more. Don't do things because you can, do them because they have a purpose. Obsession with spinning globes was crap 1995 - obsessive zooming, fading and sliding is crap 2016.

Well said.

Can someone please explain to me how to work the City videos section?

I seem to always be looking at out of date content and not the latest videos.

There used to be a latest videos section but can't find this now.

An example is yesterday I couldn't watch pressed for Guardiola part 2 of 2 until this morning.
I also find it very difficult to find the match highlights.

I'm mostly using IPad so maybe that's why I am finding it terrible

I think it's designed for tablets tbf. Proper fail if you're struggling!!

Is that fail me or the developers, or possibly both?
