I am not sure Joe's distribution has been that much of an issue until now. With City buying Stones and playing out from the back we need a keeper who can pass it around the back.

It looks like Bravo is signing and Joe is staying for the moment too. In an ideal world, Joe develops his game, and City get three top keepers. That's what happens at top clubs, you get challenged and have to improve.

I felt a bit bad for Joe Hart because he wasn't getting much of an opportunity to develop and improve, but now he will have that. However we are City fans first and foremost so if we are going to sign one of Europe's top keepers which is going to help City continue to improve then that's good.

Can't believe some of our fans are questioning this signing.
Bravo is easily In top 5 keepers in the world
Joe isn't even in top 5 in the league.

He's not a top keeper. Never will be. That's why he's happy to sit on the bench and play cup games. If he knows he's not a top keeper, I can't understand why you'd think he is.

One decent season at the age of 30 or so in an obscure career and you think he's a 'top' keeper. He's a decent backup, nothing more. How many teams in the knockout stages of the CL last year do you think he'd get picked for?

I think peter.evans used quotations wrongly. He only wrote the last sentence in his post!
